MLB 2022 Season: Houston Warship: Go Phuck Yourselves

At least they don't call themselves "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" anymore.

I remember one issue of "Superman Family" had a story featuring Lois Lane, where a supposed German U-Boat surfaced in the harbor of Metropolis, claiming to be displaced in time from WWII.

What gave them up was the fact that the German U-Boat Commander mentioned the Los Angeles Angels; which they wouldn't have known about, seeing as it happened after they were displaced.

Manfred doesn't think the new stadium in Oakland is going to happen, which means Las Vegas A's, here we come.

I just wonder if we don't get another Miami stadium, where a billion dollars is spent and it sits mostly empty.

On another note, assuming the A's do move again, that'll be the third move in 70 years. That's kind of crazy.

The Cleveland-Los Angeles-St. Louis-Los Angeles Rams say hi.

I figured the Rams moved a lot (much like the Raiders) but I couldn't remember how much since I don't follow football. I had no idea they were ever in Cleveland.

Left because they didn’t want to compete against the Cleveland Browns of the All-American Football Conference in 1946.

Learn something every day.

This also means that Game 5 will take place on Thursday night, at the same time the undefeated Eagles face off against the Houston Texans in Thursday Night Football. Choices, choices...
Meh vs. extra meh. :p

Kansas City bench coach Pedro Grifol is expected to be named the next White Sox manager.

Gold Glove winners were announced. The Cubs one bright spot is Ian Happ taking the NL LF gold glove.

Juan Soto did not win one, tho how the hell he was even nominated is beyond me. He looked like a major defensive liability in the NLCS.

10-year-old Phillies fan fails to catch Brandon Marsh's home run. Phillies broadcaster Tom McCarthy goes to give him a ball autographed by Jimmy Rollins. On his way there, he passes by Jayson Werth, who adds his autograph to the ball.

Later, Nick Castellanos tosses a ball to a random kid in the stands, and it's the same kid.
