I think that’s part of the reason why Jen called bullshit on that climax of the story.
It’s a disregard of the internal rules, at which point she also could have called out stuff like how time travel works or doesn’t work and many other things in the name of an action filled finale.

The fourth wall breaking I think was one of it's strengths. It works for Deadpool so I don't see why it would be a issue with this show. The show has made it clear it was only aiming to be a comedy so it's not a show you really need to treat serious enough to worry to much about things like canon.

I still think it needs to revamp the cast. Drunk girl and fashion design guy can stay but she needs a better boss and 2 best friends who are more interesting. Plus it's a shame that Matt Mudock can't be around for all the episodes. They have the best chemistry on the show out of all the characters.

Also if they want to make the support group a bigger part of the show that would work IMO as well. Also I got a feeling we might see Bruce's son on the show next season which is why they introduced him at the end. The Hulk is going to need to be away because of some Avenger level something or other and Jen has to watch over him while he is gone.

That's why Jen called it out to the writers and to K.E.V.I.N. It was stereotypical MCU over the top plot driven finale madness. They even had one of the writers in the background nodding in agreement with Jen like he'd been telling them it was a stupid idea. Probably even mentioned the genetic aspect but it was what K.E.V.I.N. wanted.

To each their own. I was just not expecting it to be complete camp. The sillier side of the MCU is now officially just as camp (if not more in some respects) as Batman 66 and it makes Lost in Space 65 look plausible. :guffaw:

Perhaps Jen actually is dying from the car wreck in the first episode. This is all a dream as she is slowly fading away. Since it's her dreamworld she can alter at will.

The show was clear from the very first scene what kind of show it was going to be.

And so what if this show is a bit campy? Not every show and film needs to be serious with only a bit of humor.

Yeah I get that. They went to far in this last episode imo. Too bad the rest of the productions seem to be following this formula now. Shame...
    I
fell it will turn off a lot of MCU fans.

Not getting a camp vibe. Definitely not on the Batman 66 or Lost In Space 65 level. She-Hulk doesn’t have that over the top seriousness that Batman had or the broadness of LIS.

The show has a Ally McBeal vibe. Jen is not as flaky as Ally though and like I mentioned her co-workers are not as interesting. But Matt Murdock could easy be to this show what Robert Downey Jr was to that show. While Ally didn't break the fourth wall that much it had plenty of fantasy and eccentric aspects to it. Speaking of Ally the new characters they should add is

1 A more interesting sexist guy than the one dude they had.
2 A nerdy lawyer who isn't good at her job but always wins and always has good things happening to her. A comical exaggeration of the white privilege idea.
3 A well adjusted guy that is the size of a GiJoe doll. A mutant or inhuman who wanted to work with a firm that hired She-Hulk thus a place of diversity for a lawyer who isn't just a regular human.

Plus drunk girl and fashion designer and more of her parents.

Amazing meta fourth wall break and fun intro for this episode.

I was ok with this show. The humor was fun, but nothing that made me throw out my back. The acting was good, the lead was amazing. But all in all, it's not something I'll rewatch. Not because it was bad or anything, just not for me.

You know how websites do those power level rankings for characters?
    For example, She-Hulk

Maybe they need to do one for the movies and shows so people will know which ones interest them? :)

^ I copied the top directly from Marvel so that may be more comic than MCU stats

Something that's going to have to happen in Season 2 is Jen moving from LA to NYC. Matt's there, all the big MCU action is there, and we know the (New) Avengers and the FF are going to be there in the not-too-distant future (both important chapters in comic Shulkie's life). That would be the perfect time to revamp the cast.

    Paging Harry Styles...

Don't know about a lawyer, but given the NYC setting this could be a possible in for Squirrel Girl. Since Tony's no longer around to be her intro, an early teamup with the Hulk (vs Abomination) can be retrofit for Jen.

Would an intelligent, anthropomorphic chimpanzee secretary work?

As someone that takes their universe building seriously... I will never be able to do so again. This one episode ruined it for me. Forever. 34 minutes ruined 50 hours of movies.

Something in this episode stirred up something that was brought up in "Multiverse of Madness"

Dreaming is a subconscious way to peek into the multiverse

So Jennifer dreaming of a 1970's She Hulk Incredible Hulk intro is actually a universe.

Breaking the 4th wall, and then the Netflix menu, that was comedy gold. I was giggling.
