Prequel comic coming in November. Five issues, Leah Brahms is in it for some reason.

Fifth issue should be March.. Does this mean the game is now on track for a Spring 2023 release, I wonder?

Oh so they're treating this as a big deal with multi media content? And the first comic since New Frontier to focus on A NEW SHIP-A NEW CREW-A NEW MISSION??

Probably part of it likely has to do with the Prodigy game releasing next week. Spring 2023 now makes sense as the release window for Resurgence.

This should have come much sooner, since they had blown by their Spring 2022 release date. They knew they weren’t going to release around Supernova.

Telltale was pumping out these kinds of games, seemingly monthly, at the height of their popularity. So I doubt we’re looking at a Horizon Forbidden West or Starfield kind of development cycle.

Because I've watched the videos, it's an interactive movie with 2010 graphics.

Watching videos is definitely not the same as being on a large, complex project. There's nothing about this game that looks simple. When I think "simple game", I think itch.io projects.

Yeah I could be wrong, but it looks like it’s basically a film where you hit a button to make a choice every so often and get to walk around now and then.
