He didn’t seem to be as much of a problem as it was all the other guys fumbling the ball within inches of the end zone. :scream:

Now I know the Bears have a LOT to prove, but #25 in ESPN's power rankings.....behind ten 0-1 teams? What a popularity shitshow these rankings are.

Tough to move the needle early in the season. If they keep playing well, they’ll climb the charts.

Power rankings and predictions are both equally meaningless. Yet fans lose their minds over it.

Years ago, there was a radio host who predicted the Raiders would have a good season. They did not have a good season. A regular caller who was a Raiders fan (this is not Raiders territory), believed the radio host was completely correct to predict a good season, even though the season was already over and the prediction was clearly wrong.

Joe Buck has a message for Philadelphia sports fans: 'I want you to love me.'

"If I could just say to you, Philadelphia. I'm a fan of Rocky. It was my favorite movie as a kid. I love the colors of all of your teams. My dad was really, really good friends with Harry Kalas and Richie Ashburn. I worked with Tim McCarver forever, he was the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies. And what else can I say? I mean, I love Bookbinder's when it was there when I was there as a kid. And I mean, the Liberty Bell for God's sake. I took my daughter there on a little history walk. It's where our government and our nation really started. So it's a lot to love there and I want you to love me."

Brett Favre has been a very bad boy.

Pro tip, Brett: Don't text people with evidence of your crimes.

Edit: For those unaware, these were TANF funds. For reference to those who don't know, this is "welfare" and to be eligible in Mississippi, you must (https://www.mdhs.ms.gov/economic-assistance/tanf/tanf-eligibility/):

* make less than $400 a month (with 1 child) or $542 with 2
* must have less than $542 in total assets with 2 children

If you have more than $2,000 in liquid cash, you are just completely ineligible, no matter what.

And Favre used these funds to build a volleyball stadium.

Colts cut kicker Rodrigo Blankenship after week 1. Chase McLaughlin and Lucas Havrisik will compete for the job.
