Wow. That is nice. I wonder why they didn't do this kind of treatment for all the shuttle models.

I finally found some of the "Build the Enterprise D" shuttles on ebay.de. They're pretty huge, and I like the updated paint scheme/weathering on the Type 6.

I had no idea they made XL shuttles as well... which ones did they 'upgrade'?

It's funny as I have these but never opened them just thinking they were the same size as the shuttle sets!

I’ve always loved Krause’s designs. Your work also made Neil Rhodes more fluid lines fit the refit era…which to me is timeless

I like it, except for all the impulse engines. Was that ever proven a fake, or joke?

It appears like that, with the six large impulse engines at the saucer's aft, in the PIC S3 trailer.

Was the ship originally christened the USS Amsterdam? Massive Red Light District there.

It also reminds me of the requirement in the 80's that automakers had to install an additional brake light on cars.

That they remade all of these slightly larger is just another "why?" for me.

With all if their goofy business decisions, maybe we shouldn't have been surprised that Eaglemoss went under but more that it didn't happen earlier.

I had just put in an order for a couple of stations (Spacedock and K-7) with a D-5 tanker that was finally available to Canada (I was lucky I got a refund). I was also planning to get the Orville ship and shuttle, and planned to get the Jupiter and Ty'Gokor stations down the line.

Perhaps there's still hope.
