Denise Crosby seems to confirm at STLV that she makes an appearance in S3. Matlas has already confirmed there would be a nod to Tasha Yar. This might be the legacy character he was referring to in the recent podcast about the "deep-cut" cameo (though he said they had to fly that performer out and Crosby still lives in LA so probably not her).

I'm still guessing it's just her hologram that Data had. As Terry said, it's just a 'nod' to Tasha.

Or, if the Ent-D appearance is a museum, then there could be something related to her there.

My way for her to return was that <insert character > recreated her on the holodeck and would always go talk to her from time to time. It could’ve been anyone from LaForge to Riker to Troi.
