Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

There are very few Eaglemoss models with “interior” bits. The DSC Worker Bee and Landing Pods were two. Can’t think of any others. I suspect it was simply too expensive to do interiors. I know the Runabouts never had them in either standard or XL sizes.
Sorry, the model actually has a tiny cockpit with a control console, which is pretty neat - there just isn't a clear window covering (I think in the show it might have been a forcefield, maybe that is what having no cockpit glass is supposed to be representing).

Really? Huh…. I gotta go back and take a look then. I’m assuming you’re referring to the XL Runabout? Did it have the rear interior section as well?

So, kind of like a rounded Quonset-hut-style covering? Interesting idea.
Today another user posted a picture. Their plastic was taken from clear toy packaging. I'm tempted to try it but I don't know how to get the shape right and squish it into place.

Also regarding model modification, I purchased another one of bobmat343's Intrepid class (22nd century) decals. Used that to turn a pristine model into the USS Pioneer NCC-63. In the Rise of the Federation novels, that's Captain Malcolm Reed's ship in the 2160s.

That’s what I was thinking of doing. Any clear plastic with a 90 degree bend should suffice (like the corner of a Hot Wheel or action figure). There’s enough material even with something as small as a Hot Wheel’s plastic bubble for many trial-and-error attempts.

They are in several places. I'm hosting them here on my site:
If anyone knows if the other magazines were PDF'd (Universe, Picard, Discovery, STO, Shop Exclusives, Lower Decks, Battlestar Galactica, etc.) and where they can be acquired, PLEASE let me know.

I also have the 22 books they released on PDF, but that might hover a little too close to actionable copyright infringement if I put those out there for free, especially if someone bought the license to distribute them online. Now, if they disappear too because Eaglemoss went away and the license lapsed? I might think about it at that point...

Considering the ones for which we have pdfs were the larger-sized magazines that they stopped printing ages ago, I was surprised the Shop Exclusives weren’t also put up, but maybe they just didn’t get to it before the end.

Thanks!

Cross Cult has a license for at least some of the books. Best to avoid the appearance of infringing on that.

Quite welcome! :)

And re. licensing the PDF books, my thoughts exactly. A shame, too, as some of those books have orthos for ships that weren't released yet - mostly the 31st/32nd century DSC ships. Those are some wacky-ass designs close-up! Which I'm assuming was the intent...

You could always choose select content to turn into PDF instead of the whole book. Memory Beta has orthos of the 32c ships but the photos have the awkward hinge across the middle. If there was a clear image file available...

I wish they'd also put up the shuttle mags

I got the 22 PDF set when it was on sale. Some books are well done, but the Klingon book is scrambled. Some sets of pages are repeated, replacing the original content several times.
