Saru preordered. I’m going to have to draw the line somewhere, LOL. I’m only doing main crew but across the series and movies that’s still a lot.

I was only going to get two of my Next Gen favourites.
I just broke that (lie lol) when I saw Saru. I'm worried the floodgates are now open as I feel I need to dabble in some of the other series now.
Things just got very expensive very quickly because of you, Saru!!

Anyone who was thinking of buying Seven but hadn't done so yet, do it now. She's no longer available direct from Exo-6, and she's been pulled from further production due to a price-hike in the raw materials needed to make her. All pre-orders will be filled, so if you can find a retailer who still has her on offer, now is the time.

I skipped Seven, but this is a good reminder of why I pre-order very soon after these are first offered. :)

Does this mean all others will rise in price as well going forward? Understandable considering what's going on in the world just sucky, of course.

According to the guy that runs Exo-6, no. Seven has a bunch of specific metal parts needed, and it's that metal which skyrocketed recently.

Yeah, Borg implants are hard to come by since Janeway obliterated their transwarp hub.

Finally got around to putting Burnham’s accessories on and finding a place on my Discovery shelf.

    Looks great, Nate!

And that phaser rifle is good looking even at that scale.

Saru just arrived today. As I was unboxing my wife commented “You’re excited like a kid on Christmas”.

Will try to do pics at some point.

Can't wait to see the pics!
Mine is at a mailbox across the border (cheaper shipping) until I have time to get across there and fetch it. So I will live vicariously through you!

Archer is up for pre-sale on Friday.

Means I have a day to decide if it's him or Trip representing Enterprise in my line-up ... hmmm.

I’ll be getting him. I told myself I would at least get all the Captains. Still trying to decide how deep to go on the rest.

How would you be handling Kirk? There seems to be a few eras coming our way, Motion Picture, Maroon, and TOS. I'm opting for Maroon, myself.

I have the 2nd run TOS Kirk from QMX so I’m not sure. TMP is out because I’m not a fan of that movie or the uniforms. The maroons look good and I read he’s trying to at least make all the uniforms at the same time so the dye matches.

The truth is I’ll probably break down and do both . Part of the TOS decision may be how close the uniforms match my QMX items.

Quick pic, the lighting doesn’t show the gold best makes it look bronze. Ran into the problem that he’s too tall to fit on my shelf. Going to have to raise the one above it to pose with Burnham.

Although many of the figures are of a quality never achieved before (certainly not by Sideshow, if you look at their often strange-looking James Bond line), the biggest drawback is the lack of actor-accurate body sculpts. Whether it was QMX's Kirk or Exo's Mirror Spock, the generic bodies used take me out of the attempt at realism, as Shatner and Nimoy had very distinctive physical shapes, no matter which season of TOS you can recall.

I understand tooling for a single-use body is expensive, but I think attention to that detail would only increase sales.
