Spoilers Resident Alien (2020 SyFy)

I don't know if I've said it on here before, but Alan Tudyk deserves an Emmy for playing Harry, he's just amazing in the role.

That's something I noticed on my rewatch. The way Tudyk goes from Human Harry to Alien Harry is amazing. It kind of reminds me of Tatiana Maslany in Orphan Black. It's the same actor, but two very different personalities.

Not trying to be a wet blanket, but as great as this news is, SyFy has (at least in recent years) typically pulled the plug on shows after the third season. But still, at least we are getting another season of a great show, so regardless if it is the last or not, at least there's another season of entertainment ahead of us. A reason to celebrate, certainly.
It gives me the impression that perhaps it's a little less expensive than the other SyFy shows? On the other hand, the main character is a quite well know actor, so I think he cames with a relative high price tag for a TV production...

They'll eventually give him a producer credit instead of a pay rise, if they haven't already.

God that ending was so sad, especially seeing Jay waiting for Asta. Good episode, but that was pretty heavy.

That is why I use my phone as a backup brain. I would have a reminder of the event to make sure I didn't zone out and forget it, or miss it if I forget what date or time it currently is.

That's true, but there was so much happening that night that I don't think she had time or even a thought to put the reminder in her phone.

Terrific episode, and a good way to get back into the groove. Harry's "Deputy Sad Smile" comment had me rolling.
Also, poor Asta, and it's sweet that Harry wants her to be happy, but it just doesn't work like that, my friend.

Side note: My crush on nearly the entire cast continues unabated. These are some damn good looking people.

Yeah, and then she had to run back to rerecord her audiobook she made.
This was a great start to the second half of the season.
You really have to feel bad for what poor Asta went through. It'll be interesting to see what the aftereffects of Harry playing with her memory will be. We saw a little of it will Jaye at the end, but I doubt that will be everything.
Harry's "therapy" session with Ben & Kate was pretty funny. I don't understand why Meredeth Garretson is still not a regular, she's on just as much as most of them are.
The UFO hunter Liv sent the video to Terry O'Quinn's character or Gen. McCallister's people?

How an actor is credited has as much to do with their requests as anything else. It's possible Meredith Garretson just doesn't want to be a regular, for her own personal reasons. It's for a similar reason Michael Hogan was never listed as a regular on BSG, despite appearing in nearly every episode of the series anyway.

I wonder how much of her memory got erased. If she doesn't remember getting rid of a dead body but Darcy does, that could lead to some hijinks. Guess we'll find out.

Well, I've just read the plot synopsis for episode 11 (airing August 24) and it seems
all her memories will be back by then.

I just watched episode 11 10.
Those darn kids and their new alien playmate. The woman at the no-tell motel really likes the sheriff, but it looks like the sheriff is into the former NYPD detective from the neighboring jurisdiction. The thing I have a problem with is people calling a tracked excavator a 'backhoe.' It is almost as bad as the press calling a backhoe / loader a 'bulldozer.'
