Spoilers Resident Alien (2020 SyFy)

That was a hell of a twist. That was also a much tighter episode than last week. I was skeptical that they jumped into the future but that worked a whole lot better than it had any right to.

You got that right.

The other things I noted.
Deputy Baker sends a comment right over Sheriff Thompson's head:"Once again, you are the hero of your own story." :guffaw:

Be wary of the school lunch lady.

Dr. Vanderspeigle's bedside manner with Alice. And his comment afterward when he does something nice: "What kind of monster have I become?." :D

Even though I've seen every episode, I have no idea who the other brunette friend in the group is.

If you're talking about Kayla, she is Asta's cousin.

Yeah, that never would have crossed my mind. The MiB capturing Baby was a big surprise too.
I had forgotten that Kate wasn't a life long resident of Patience.
Mike really is ridiculously clueless at times, like with the whole scene with the hat.
I love how disgusted Harry is that he's actually starting to care about people other than Asta. Him trying to live on Earth in his alien form was hilarious.

The plot thickens!

My heart broke for poor Asta, finally meeting her mom and it's just... her mom doesn't even give a damn about her at all. Luckily she has Dan, who is just a super dad, and one of my favorite people on the show, to support her, and of course her friends, and... and Harry in his own way.

D'arcy and the pain meds are going to come back on her, and I just have a feeling she's going to irreparably damage her knee and that will be it.

We're back with Liv and her experience seeing a UFO as a child, and I expect that will play out here very soon. Mike really irks me sometimes, but he does care about his deputy. I just find it funny that she has to be serious or she won't be respected as Sheriff while he literally thinks she bought him a fossilized dinosaur egg as a going away gift. He's definitely eccentric, I'll give him that.

Funny seeing the Grey (Oh my!) "talking" to Harry. I am curious as to why they're getting involved since, as Harry said before, the Greys don't really bother with humanity.

A really solid episode all around. Churros for everyone!

Agreed, and probably at the worst possible time (when she's winning).

A good, solid episode with lots of plot continuation, some nice twists (Greys!) and wow, Asta's mom. As awful as she is, there are people who truly have no desire to be moms (I should know as I'm one of them). She could've chosen not to have Asta at all, so cut her a *teeny* bit of slack.

That scene between Asta and her Mother was cold. Harry telling her to keep smoking was a well deserved scene in that moment. That scene at the end with the Greys was fun, especially with Takai's famous "Oh My" saying. Good episode this week.

That wasn't Takei doing the voice, was it?

I think the whole episode was worth it just to hear George Takei say he was freezing his little grey dick off. Their explanation for crop circles was pretty good.
Damn, Asta's mom is horrible. I loved Harry telling her to keep smoking.
It'll be interesting to see how far they take D'Arcy's painkiller addiction.
It was nice to get a real heartfelt moment between Mike and Liv out in the forest.

The only thing I'm curious about is who does the guard (and alien assassin) Joseph (Enver Gjokaj) at General Wright's (Linda Hamilton) base actually work for? I was sure he was an αDraconian, since they can imitate humans like Harry.
