Spoilers The Orville: New Horizons Season 3 Discussion

To those saying we didn't need to see the child torture... I'm not convinced even if people had been made to watch Kashoggi being dismembered by the Saudis that they wouldn't still be arguing that we need to continue our appeasement of the House of Saud because oil.

Hell, there are those right now saying we need to let Russia have Ukraine, or parts of it.

I would really like to know what the female / male ratio is in the Moclans. 1/1,000,000? 1/1,000,000,000? Because they needed to be so few so that it was easy to hide their existence from the rest of the society.

It feels sort of like the Trill issue in Trek. They hide the numbers in terms of how many people could be host but the numbers must have still been small enough to hide it from the public.

The Orville is headed to Disney+. At San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, The Orville creator Seth MacFarlane announced that all three seasons of the series will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning August 10th. The series will also remain available for streaming on Hulu. The third season of the fan-favorite series debuted on Hulu in June.

"I'm thrilled to bring all three seasons of The Orville to Disney+," MacFarlane said. "Making this show has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my career, and I'm immensely grateful to Disney for providing us the opportunity to expand our Orville community further. I can't wait for new audiences to experience this series."

As much as I have loved Pic, SNW, Disco and LDS I honestly think this week's episode is the finest episode of anything produced in the last few years.

It had the obvious contrivances of TV but just wow.

To have such a game changing moment as the Moclan's being expelled must be seeing up for a big Kaylon episode, possibly that brings that Krill woman around to the needs of the many.

Just a brilliant episode - even the Dolly Parton stuff, which I imagine has more cultural impact (whether for laughs or otherwise) on the other side of the pond to the UK although it was still appreciated as I am at least familiar with her work. I just checked and they actually got her for the episode (according to Wiki) which shows how much cache the series has now also

I don't think there is a reason to reup with Hulu when my 99 cent year ends (unless they do it again). I don't really watch anything on Hulu other than Orville and I have Disney+ until 2023.

Was this the finale? Or will new episodes be posted on both Hulu & Disney+ from this point on?
I read it as all happening in one continuous stream and I'm pretty sure Bortus killed them both so I think the person is safe
I think the guy who was torturing Topa was still alive, I think I remember him still moving when they left him.
This was another fantastic episodes.
It was nice to revisit Haveena and what's going on with the female Moclans.
As a huge Dolly Parton fan, I loved her appearance.
I'm not surprised they finally kicked the Moclans out of the Union, they've pretty much been building to that since the episode that first dealt with Topa being a female.
As glad as I was to finally see Klyden go, his return was a really great scene. If this isn't the end of the season, it will be interesting to see where they go with him now.

If Topa hadn't turned up, the Mochlans would have stayed in the union.

Oh.

So Topa arrived at the exact moment of maxamin dramatic impact, or...

Topa arrived hours or days earlier, and then waited until the moment of dramatic impact to appear.

Sneaky.
