Is he considered more DS9 than TNG, and thus presumably off limits? That would be bad.

Re: Worf having white hair. Yes, it's canonical that Klingon have longer lifespans than humans yes, but who knows how their actual aging process works. Case in point, Kang looks relatively the same in Voyager's "Flashback" and DS9's "Blood Oath" despite there being an eighty year gap. The reality is, Worf is played by a human actor who ages like the rest of us. Michael Dorn grew back his Worf goatee (one of the first clues we got that he was in S3) and it was all white as Dorn is almost 70. So just deal with it! I think Worf looks bad ass with the white hair.
I've been watching a couple of the interviews with Gates and Patrick and she is really funny. You can tell she's thrilled to be back and loved her part in S3.

The real answer to "Where's O'Brien" is probably that Colm Meaney was too busy or not interested to return.
Eh. They could have given his wig a bit of dark. Koloth in DS9 did not have bone white hair and he was much older. Worf is still a young Klingon of about 75 to 90. He was raised by human parents after all. Parents who were still alive 35 years ago. So he should not be looking like the albino...
What if this Worf is from the future i.e. late 25th/early 26th century?
He gave an interview recently where he said he’d be open to a return, but it’s obviously not happening in Picard. Terry Matalas has promised that there are more cameos though…
“There are some people from ‘Star Trek’ who come back in this season who aren’t the ‘Next Gen’ [primary] cast. I mean there’s one character who is in ‘Next Gen’ who I was like… I really want THIS character to come back.

And when asked if Matalas had plans to stick around and produce any more content for the Star Trek universe — after Picard signs off for good — the showrunner offered this cryptic response:

Doubtful. Hes wearing the same uniform as everyone else. I hope Dorn didnt play Worf as an old Klingon.
I highly doubt it's the latter. Meaney has always said that he loved playing O'Brien and I always got the vibe that he'd return in a cold minute if asked.

This is true. But Worf was shown to still have dark streaks in his hair in the future. I just hope Dorn and the directors made sure Worf is played as a younger Klingon and not like a 70 year old human. Dorn looks and sounds great for his age. He could pull it off easily.
Was gonna bring up Steve Martin, but you beat me to it! I'm 35, and that guy has had white hair my whole life. Also, Klingon Pai Mei is fucking badass.
