It has a nice little cutaway diagram of the Enterprise 1701-A, with enough clarity about the key to show phaser emitters above the hangar bay doors.

Is this something something a fan or one of the production crew came up with? I'll try and post a picture of the t-shirt later if I can.

I'm not sure if they are unless they appear in the background of a live action film or episode. Like the Constitution schematics that were online for years then used in Enterprise.

Well, technically does the Enterprise-A even have phasers? Because...uh...we never saw them fired on screen!

We assume her to have all the armament the previous Refit incarnation of the Enterprise had and some improvements as well.

But true, we only ever see her fire torpedoes in Trek 5 and 6.

Didn't the old Constitution Defiant fire rear phasers in IAMD Part 2? I dont remember where they fired them from

Well, that was the pre-refit Enterprise, but I can't recall where the emitters were.

I believe that ``In A Mirror Darkly'' fired aft torpedoes and the scene was composed so that it wasn't really clear just where they came from, which was probably wise.

We know from ``The Arena'' that there exist aft phasers, we just never saw them in action.
