Has an airdate for season three been announced yet?

Well, has there? I haven't seen anything mentioned on TrekMovie yet.

You see with all of the year-round Star Trek, I've become addicted to it, and I'm jonesing for my next fresh batch.

No. We're on hiatus until further notice. It's believed by many season 3 will premiere in August, since the previous two seasons premiered August of the previous two years. But at the moment that's just speculation.

Hopefully, we'll learn something at Comic Con in a few weeks.

Non stop Star Trek without breaks is a bad idea anyway and would only lead to a burned out audience. To be honest, even with close to eleven months of new product each week, I find I'm actually looking forward to a month without any new Star Trek.

No kidding. I did it this morning...awful.

In my case it meant staying up until 11:30 at night, which given I have to wake up at 6 am was not among the best ideas of sleep. Back when we just got one season at a time and then a break, I had no problem with a night of less sleep a week, but this time around, by February I just decided enough is enough after six months and the reality that new Star Trek would be continuing for another five. So I decided to stop the live broadcasts and just watch the new episodes through my cable's On Demand on Friday after work.

Yep, like me. When I realized that Lower Decks wasn’t happening straightaway, I canceled Paramount+ the day after the last SNW episode dropped. We’ll see how long into the next batch of Lower Decks I re-up. It’s my only must-watch Trek series at the moment.

None of it is "must watch." With SNW done I'm might resub at some point but if I get around to it.

I went in to drop my subscription the next day also, but They offered me the next two months at half price for the Non-Commercial version so I decided not to.
