Payday equates lots of good stuff:
  • Cloaked Predator, 10 inches by McFarlane,
Pics tonite

So, is this actually invisible, like an empty pedestal sort of deal? :D

Ah ah! Smart ass!

As promised:

The Predator and The UFO Robot Grendizer are presents for the 30th birthday of a close friend of mine. I initially thought the Predator would glow in the dark (it has the same shades as phosphorescent materials) so I brought a portable dark light but unfortunately, nada! So I'm going to add some "wounds" with fluorescent green, some fluorescent orange for the weapons and then build a case, paint it black (ohhhh good one!), install the portable dark light device and voilà!
I couldn't resist buying Angus Young and Brian Johnson! :D

That looks cool, Mutenroshi!!

I bought two shirts from Esprit, some shampoo and a lotion from The Body Shop, and Happy Feet! =D

Would you expect anything less? :D

Have fun with the new figures!

Wow, that's very pink.

:D

I like the red and the blue, but a lot of the students I teach have those colours, so I'd rather have something completely different... if they made purple I'd be there, but pink will do! Yes, I'm a little girl playing my girly games on my girly system. ;)

At least it doesn't have a Hello Kitty sticker on the back. Right?

Should pay itself back in about four months.

In thousands of tiny little cuts. :p

4 months is probably also about how long it will take you to be able to shave well with it. But after that, I hear you stop swearing AT it and start swearing BY it. Good luck!

^ Actually, it worked pretty well for me the first time. But I'm somewhat atypical when it comes to shaving, as I rarely have a bad shave. For some reason, my skin doesn't bleed or irritate as easily as other people's, so it makes sense to optimize for cost for me rather than spend money on the more expensive systems that have negligable benefits.

I was exaggerating for effect to be fair - most people apparently adapt within about a week or so, taking their time for those shaves. If you've had a good shave straight out the box, you're probably going to be one of those guys who end up REALLY loving safety razors.

Didn't think I would, but yesterday I joined the trend and bought an Ipod Nano and a speaker system. Birthday money.:)

If I wasn't a very tall Caucasian in her late twenties, I so totally would be a teenage Japanese girl. :D

But no on the sticker... although, that would complete the look...

I've sent you shopping on the internet for stickers now haven't I? :D

And I want to see pics of the Hello Kittified DS in this thread when you get them. :p

We finallly bought a new Frigidaire range. It's getting delivered this Friday :)

Hey - that's MY stove!

I guess I should run home to check my kitchen. ;)

Before I go though:

2 Reidel burgundy glasses
2 bottles of burgundy
1 bottle of Austrian chardonnay
1 bottle of old vine zinfandel

My latest purchase is an 1986 reprint of the Wizard of z book that is illustrated by Italian artist, Libico Maraja. This book was first published in 1958 (the year of my birth). It is beautifully illustrated book and was originally an expensive book to buy. My sister received it as her main Christmas present sometime in the 1960s. I loved the book as a chil and was jealous that my sister owned it.

It is a large book (13 1/2 inches by 10 inches with 120 pages)

My sister gave me her copy a couple of years ago but it was in a terrible condition with it cover and some pages missing so I am so pleased that I managed to get a copy of the reprint for a total cost of $22.

Here is an example of the standard of illustration
