I don't know about the Flash movie but the eventual Ezra Miller biopic should be wild.
Calm the fuck down, Ezra.
A real tweet? Yes.
The info in it - not so much? lolA real tweet? Yes.
Funnily enough I'm the reverse. I check out almost all the animated flicks but I'm not sure I'll bother with this one. Mmmaybe though.![]()
Coming October 18:
I'm not much of a fan of DC's direct-to-video animated movies, but this looks better than most. The CG animation is more fluid than these movies' typical stiff standard, the character designs are solid, and the voice work sounds okay. Still don't know if I'll check it out, but I'm at least more tempted than usual.
Uhm, ...What's next? Batmobile and Superman's baby pod gain sentience and have to team-up to save the world and rescue Batman & Superman?
I did not know that was coming, but it def fits lol.
Hell, yeah. You've watched their dogs fight to save the world... Now watch their sons fight to save the world.
You're right they are going to probably have to recast---but one thing about the Flash I have had a problem with for awhile now is the confusion between who Barry Allen is and who Wally West is. It is happening in the comics as well as in live action. Gustin had his own unique spin, but in the early years of the series his detective skills played a big role and his personality was more like Barry's. Miller's take, to me, comes across more like Bart Allen's personality than Wally West's. My hope is that whoever is writing/developing the new live action Flash realize that there are distinct personalities for the various Flash's and pick a name that actually matches the character.
So, since Barry Allen has to be re-cast (probably not for this upcoming movie, but for sure for any appearances after that), there comes the question of who to cast. And I know a lot of people want Grant Gustin, but that's not gonna happen. I actually doubt Gustin would even want to do it, maybe for a one-off but not for a probable franchise.
WB would do well to cast an unknown, fresh actor, while the supporting players are more recognizable names.
