Spoilers 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' series [Spoiler Discussion]

By the time the Fifth Brother, Seventh Sister and the Grand Inquisitor died in Rebels there probably weren't enough left to make a difference and, as conjectured above, Palpatine had the remaining Inquisitor or Inquisitors killed so that they would no longer pose a threat should Vader change his mind about his loyalty and make a play for power to topple his Master.

They weren't Sith, just accessories of the Sith and thus disposable once they outlived their usefulness.

The impression I got from Filloni at the time is that those killed in 'Twilight of the Apprentice' were meant to be the last ones left.
I don't really buy Palpatine and/or Vader just killing them because they're a threat. Let's be honest; none of them were ever a threat to either Sidious or Vader, nor would any of them make particularly formidable Sith apprentices. Indeed, that's kind of the point of them. Competent enough to be useful, not competent enough to be dangerous.

Also let's not forget that in TCW Sidious abducts force sensitive younglings with the intent of creating a network of brainwashing force sensitive spies throughout the galaxy. That clearly doesn't describe the Inquisitorious, and we know the collection of younglings continued under the Empire, so it's a fair bet that Sidious had a parallel program running, and I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of the Inquisitors were rejects from that program. What could have become of that network after Palpatine after his "death" is a bit of a mystery, though one that might factor into whatever Thrawn is up to post RotJ, or eventually come back in some eventual post tROS stories. Or I guess they could all have automatically terminated as part of Operation Cinder. We'll see.

Obi Wan "conveniently" losing his holocomm in Part V, and Bail completely ignoring opsec and chatting about LUKE SKYWALKER, THE SECRET SON OF DARTH VADER, LIVING ON TATTOOINE WITH THE LARS FAMILY in the open certainly stretched my suspension of disbelief.

The deaging of Obi Wan and Anakin for the flashback sequences didn't work for me; whether it was CGI or makeup it looked off.
The Emperor was a hologram, so they could have certainly made him look post ROTS, it was also a little jarring.
But those are minor nitpicks on a very enjoyable show. I give it an 8/10 because it accomplished what it set out to do - explain how Obi Wan went from a bitter hermit living in a self-imposed exile to the noble, secret guardian of Luke Skywalker we see in ANH.

Lack of good lighting is a pathway to many accidents some consider to be....avoidable.

was you watching Solo by mistake?
No but that sounds like the perfect follow up!

Well, he didn't actually use those words, so....
