Honestly even if she is rather a toxic person to some extent (entirely possible) the horrible hatchet job that's been done to her and boosting Depp makes me NOT want her part cut or her recast.
Plus Mera's an awesome character.
(Now that said, I only found her okay at best, and the chemistry with Momoa wasn't great but still... the "fire her" is such bullshit)

WB cannot release the movie now as it stands. 2nd allegation made against him involving a minor and now these taunts to the police. He clearly going to be found, arrested and probably end up in jail. His state of mind being clearly deranged it could end in a much worse manner.

Well, with this second allegation we are now past the point where there is any possibility of 'The Flash' getting released as is. (No doubt, one particular poster will disagree.)
And I can't see any good solutions for Warners either. Reshooting his scenes would essentially mean reshooting the entire film. Replacing him digitally might technically be possible but to do it well isn't going to be cheap or quick. Either way his stench will still be all over it regardless.
Taking the hit on the movie's budget (which apparently is at the lower end for a superhero film) rather than add to it with all the extra costs of promotion might be the best bet.

The release date for this is July 2023 - the way things are going - Warner has to consider now there is a non-trivial risk the main star is on trial as a child sex offender by that point.

Unless something worse happens. Miller's actions aren't that of a rational person anymore and this can really and unfortunately take some really sad and tragic turns for the worse unless they can get professional help soon. I really really hope they can, too. Things are bad enough, they don't necessarily have to get worse.
