DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

You know, it probably does take a long time to accurately put Grant Gustin's face in every frame Ezra's was. If it turns out that was the reason for dragging it out like they are, I'd be okay with that.

That Black Adam trailer was very good. They definitely changed some stuff about the character, but I think it will probably work out well with the story they're telling, and its not like Black Adam hasn't been an anti-hero before. Its definitely a movie that I'm looking forward to.

They can't even digitally erase a mustache without it looking like ass.

The Flash will get released, Miller and all.

As for the petition to remove Heard from the Aquaman sequel, WB should give the MRA/incel vote all the respect it deserves.

WB can ignore that bullshit. No one needs to bend to the hate-filled Geeks n' Gamers / Ben Shapiro, et al., end of the world.

Not saying I agree with that petition, I certainly don't. But a petition with several million signatures does deliver some troubling headlines. It already has. And WB has reportedly already reduced Heard's role in the movie. As I said, I do not envy WB's marketing department.

And how many of them are real?
Again, I don't buy into that whole narrative. But I see that a whole lot of people do. I know people in real life who do. This isn't even about the petition itself. It is the headlines that it creates, and the idea they reinforce that Heard is toxic, thanks to Depp's PR team.
I mean, even people who didn't follow that whole court circus have been hit over the head with the image of Heard deficating into the bed, and that she lost the case. WB's marketing now has the rather hard job to fight said image so the Aquaman movie doesn't suffer too much at the box office, because you really don't want to hear people after the first weekend saying "I couldn't really concentrate on the movie, because all I could think of was that woman shitting the bed". It sucks that this is necessary, but it is.

Of course the reality is probably that they were just a toxic couple and neither should really be cancelled...

It looks serious enough, and with his childhood being so tragic, he cannot--or should not--forget that and/or turn into a quip machine.
From the trailer it looks like most of the humor will be coming from the other characters, rather than Adam himself.

Hey folks, did you think we'd already reached peak Ezra Miller awfulness? Sadly not.

Jeez, I swear each accusation that comes out about them is worst then the last.

On a more positive note, The Black Adam trailer was really good, and definitely has me excited for the movie.
As for Amber Heard, I thought the general opinion was that she was the worse of the two?

I continue to be disappointed in black Adam without Shazam. Plus, I prefer black Adam as an understandable villain instead of an anti hero...

After watching the trailer again, does it look like they've made Dwayne Johnson somewhat less muscular in the scenes set in ancient Egypt; similar to what they did to Chris Evans in making him look like sickly Steve Rogers in 'Captain America'?

Black Adam trailer is out. I don't like it.

My reaction to that is the same as it is for every Rock movie: Meh,...... I'll see it on streaming. Maybe.

Aquaman was merely average so the sequal will be a streaming watch as well regardless of whether or not Herd has been canceled from it. For me she wasn't the problem with the first movie. Change the lead role with someone who can actually act and I'll be more interested.

That would be the general opinion bought and paid for by Depp, when it's not being fueled for free by the Internet's misogynist cesspool?

Sadly, yes.
I haven't really been following it that closely, I just know that a lot of people seemed to turn on her as the trial went on, and then Depp won.

Yes, as a result of actually watching the trial. Not as the result of what people on twitter said.

(My personal opinion is that both did reprehensible things, although Heard did worse)
