Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers

And for today here is an amazing Captain and her fantastic crew - right from the pilot episode:

Janeway really looks beautiful (basically no matter what she wears). If you go back (no idea to which page), you will find a wallpaper where I included her from various episodes in which she wore white. As for her hairstyle the only one I didn't like was on the episode PARTURITION but on other episodes I thought her hair was nice.

I think I've found the one that you made with Janeway from the various episodes where she is wearing white. Below are links to a few that I particularly like.

Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers - Eye of the Needle
Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers - Janeway in white
Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers - Janeway
Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers - Once Upon a Time - Naomi has a very expressive face
Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers - "There's Coffee in that Nebula!" - I'm a coffee addict too and I love the image of Earth and the stars combined with Janeway and coffee.

Thank you for sharing a video of the Illogical song in Hungarian. It sounds like a beautiful language and I agree that the Hungarian voices of the characters are lovely.

As to your comments about Chakotay and Paris being a couple: I think the writers could have got some interesting stories out of that if they had decided to. We don't really get the backstory on why Chakotay hates Paris in "Caretaker" and it seemed (to me) that Paris was more embarrassed than anything rather than hating Chakotay at that point. I could totally see them as a couple.

Thanks for all the likes - I am very happy to see that there are so many of my wallpapers that you like. Since you liked so many Janeway wallpapers, I am guessing she is your fav character? She is definitely mine, in the entire universe of Star Trek.

I personally don't like coffee (funnily enough I love everything else with a coffee flavour: coffee icecream, coffee cake etc., and I love eating small chocolates with a coffee filling) but it's so much an iconic thing for Janeway that I have made a few wallpapers with that theme. The one I haven't shared yet will be from PREY where she says it's the finest organic suspension ever devised and that picture will have her and Chakotay having coffee.

Now that you mentioned it I went back on YouTube to watch that scene where Seven and the Doctor sing You Are My Sunshine and I found a convention where the actors actually sang it again. It was nice. Most of the Hungarian voices are pretty good on Star Trek, I think, Janeway's is my fav on Voyager. I must admit I don't like Seven's Hungarian voice that much but over the years I have got used to it.
And an interesting thing I read: when Vass Gábor, who was Chakotay's Hungarian voice, died last year, Rick Berman also expressed his condolences to the actor's family.
I don’t think I ever saw Chakotay and Paris as a couple.
Neither did I. No idea any more what I might have said about this earlier but what I basically mean is that if the producers had gone for a gay relationship on VOY, a Tom-Chakotay couple would have been more to my liking than a Tom-Harry one. Of course, during the show Tom and Harry got much closer to each other than Tom and Chakotay so naturally there's a lot more fan fiction about T/H than T/C. But if things had taken a different turn, I would like to have seen Tom paired up with Chakotay rather than with Harry.

I don’t drink coffee (or any hot beverage) either. But I like coffee ice cream and cake, too.

You’re right. The scripts would’ve had to be dramatically different for there to ever be anything between Tom and Chakotay.

Thanks for sharing your wallpapers. I watched Voyager when I was a child and I rewatched it during covid. As you might expect, some things seemed very different and some things were as I remembered them. When I first saw the show, B'Elanna was my favourite character because I identified with her and Chakotay was my second favourite character because I kind of wanted him to be my dad. On rewatching, I was really struck by how beautiful and amazing Janeway is and I think she's inspiring. It is incredible how few people died on Voyager for example and how much Janeway really seems to care about her crew in a way that Picard doesn't. Voyager is my favourite Star Trek because I love all the characters and they feel like a family.

Wow, it's surprising you don't like coffee but love everything else with a coffee flavour. I look forward to seeing your PREY wallpaper - I love that quote.

Anyone else who thinks that the Hirogen are the same species as Marayna in the season 3 episode Alter Ego?
Or at least related to Marayna's people.
The one in the SS uniform to the right could be Marayna's brother.

Now that you've pointed it out, yes, she does look Hirogen.

This is great!
Excellent!
Thanks, both of you.

Yep, VOY is my fav show because of the family feeling that's present basically in every scene. The first VOY ep I saw was, I think, ONE and that one focuses on Seven and still I immediately felt that this was like one big family so I fell in love with the series. It's still my fav show and not only among the Star Trek ones.
As for Janeway she is amazing! She is the catalyst for that family feeling so she is simply great. If I lived aboard Voyager, I would surely try to spend as much of my free time with her as I could, with her Gothic holonovel and Leonardo da Vinci and stuff - even if she would surely beat me at Pareses Squares .

I'm afraid I made a mistake and misled you. That wallpaper will come from HUNTERS, not PREY. Sorry about that - I tend to mix the two episodes, with all the Hirogen stuff + they come one after the other in the show so I often mix up what happens in which one.
But the wallpaper is there although I haven't decided yet whether it needs some editing or if it's ready to be shared as it is. We shall see. In the meantime see today's wallpaper - your feedback was inpsirational so this week I made a coffee-centered wallpaper.
As for coffee it is not the only food/drink in my life where I don't like the original but love everything that's made from it. I am not a big fan of tomatoes but I could kill for any food with tomato sauce on it - they are definitely my favourite dishes (tomato soup, meatballs in tomato sauce, tomato potatoes /no idea how to translate this last one into English/ ... you name it). And I definitely can't stand milk, it's very smell makes my stomach turn whereas I love any dairy product, from yoghurts to sour cream, from cottage cheese to whipped cream, from icecream to cheese ... etc. Again, anything made from milk or with milk is a big favourite of mine just not milk itself.

Don't worry, I mix those episodes up too! The Hirogen are brilliant adversaries. Tomatoes are best straight off the plant. The internet seems to think Hungarian tomato potatoes is a stew. It looks delicious. I love your new wallpaper, thank you for sharing it.
