Spoilers Captain Rios series?

Okay I know many are into this idea so what would everyone like to see if they did this? My idea is his ship is set to be the first Federation ship to explore a alternate universe and the universe is the Kelvinverse in the 25th century. The ship is a mix crew of Starfleet from the prime universe and Starfleet from the Kelvinverse.

Exploring the 25th Century Kelvinverse would certainly be interesting... The loss of Vulcan would have pretty dramatic down-stream effects, particularly in the areas of scientific and technological advancement. Yeah, there was a little tech bump from the Narada's appearance, but that was probably pretty short lived. I imagine the trend of giant ships to handle the technology would continue, a smaller weaker Federation with greater scarcity that's a lot more practical and less idealistic much like what we see in Picard (which, not ironically, is run by the same people who created the Kelvinverse).

+1 for the concept

The main crew is

1 Captain Rios

I liked Rios as an Okana-type, flying around on La Sirena more than I liked him as a starship commander. He was so eager to fall in line and follow Picard that I'm not sure he has the chops to actually lead. Even among the rest of the cast, we never actually see him take charge and do something. -1

2 First Officer Raffi

3 Jurati Science Officer

Why Raffi? She's an awful mess of a person to be in that kind of position. -1

I think Jurati could be interesting as a civilian consultant -- a bit like David Marcus on the Grissom. And there could be some fireworks with the Starfleet science officer as she steps all over his/her toes. +1

4 Laris from Kelvinverse who is a Federation Ambassador from Kelvinverse

A Romulan ambassador representing the alternate Federation to the prime Federation. I'd love to see what caused the Kelvinfeds and Romulans to make peace to that degree. +1

5 Worf Ambassador from Prime Universe

6 Picard's son from Kelvinverse as second officer and operations officer. He most of a reckless wildard type who doesn't get along with his dad. His mom died when he was young on a Starfleet mission.

I think we have enough small universe syndrome with Worf... -1

7 New Alien that has wings and can fly as chief engineer. Has no emotions most of the time unless he or she uses a drug which he or she has chosen to do often for this mission. Doesn't like having emotions. From Kelvinverse. Has to deal with conflict from others in engineer who had their chief engineered replaced for this mission and they liked her.

Not sure if this is like Data on drugs, or like a B'Elanna Torres rehash... Either way, -1

8 Vulcan doctor from Kelvinverse. He or she was raised by Ferengi parents. Likes profit but also has a big heart which is why they wanted to become a doctor.

I think making this a Ferengi doctor would be better. Continue to show more of their culture and grow the concept. An emotional Vulcan doesn't really add much to the concept. +0

The bridge crew which would be the Bajoran lady, the black communication officer and trill guy would also be bridge personal much like the ones on Discovery even though they might not technically be series regulars. plus 2 more from the Kelvinverse.

Extras. +0

Overall, +1. I'd watch the show because the concept can be interesting and because of Worf. Needs some refinement with the characters though.

Thanks for a welcome distraction today :)
