Too bad it didn't make it to the air. It was an excellent story.
The Borg being a biological weapon gone awry is a bit cliche.
Found it. Though I don't know whether it's the final revision.

It's not bad. Well written, but the script kind of lacks something. I'd probably care about Kamchai if there was a good actor behind him. The Borg being a biological weapon gone awry is a bit cliche.
I'm glad somebody's reading it.http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4083542/3/Star_Trek_Voyager_Origin_of_a_Species
This isn't the one I found last night but it might do. To get each section of the story, open the drag down menu on the upper right and click on the next one down. It actually starts in section 3 (above) so next is #4.
I found this video on YouTube on the origin of the Borg. It's supposedly a clip from the Star Trek Legacy video game??
Too bad it never reached the final stages. Some refinements and it could have become one of the show´s best episodes. Although the motivation really IS quite sketchy. I always imagined the first race to have pursued improving and perfecting themselves more and more with each step until their creation became their doom.Found it. Though I don't know whether it's the final revision.

Jammer would probably have given it 2.5 stars - 3 if J.G. Hertzler was in it.
