Does anyone still have the Borg origin script?

A while back, someone posted a proposed script, "ST:V: Origin of the Species," and it was excellent. Does anyone still have it to share? Thanks!

Found it! Supposedly, it was a script that Gary Whitta wrote for VOY and speculation surrounding it was that it had actually been considered and had gone through some rewriting in meetings. Too bad it didn't make it to the air. It was an excellent story.

At home. I'll post it tonight. Thanks for your patience. Otherwise, I believe I Googled "Origin of the Species" and the author's name and a link to the script was on the first or second page of the response.

It was well written, but hardly special. Yes it would be better than (insert link to thread of Which Is The Worst Voyager Episode?) but TPTB don't just want something better than the worst they've written. Interestingly one list I read about plots that had been overly-submitted to the writers included "origin of the Borg" stories, so it would have to be exceptional to get their attention.

Found it. Though I don't know whether it's the final revision.

It's not bad. Well written, but the script kind of lacks something. I'd probably care about Kamchai if there was a good actor behind him. The Borg being a biological weapon gone awry is a bit cliche.

Jammer would probably have given it 2.5 stars - 3 if J.G. Hertzler was in it.

Just read it. Too bad it never made it to air. It would be considered non-canon since it never made it on air during Voyager's run, right?

Too bad it never reached the final stages. Some refinements and it could have become one of the show´s best episodes. Although the motivation really IS quite sketchy. I always imagined the first race to have pursued improving and perfecting themselves more and more with each step until their creation became their doom.

I like the idea that it is just the nanobots; that there IS no humanoid Borg; just a virus, spreading itself and copying itself as far as it can be taken, making the Borg even more like the unstoppable mass of zombies they were originally portrayed it. Not a Voyager fan, but this one sounds like an episode I would watch.

The Star Trek: Destiny novel trilogy tells a really good story about the beginning and end of the Borg Collective. Voyager has a cameo, and the big invasion is all Janeway's fault.
