Terry Matalas: No Stargazer in S3

Logically it could, but if someone at Paramount wants a new Enterprise, we'll have to get an Enterprise F. After all, the only reason the Enterprise D was destroyed in Generations and First Contact introduced a brand new Enterprise E was because some higher up at Paramount said "it's been seven years, we need a new Enterprise."

It's been TWENTY years since Nemesis.

So ... :shifty:

I hope they follow Kirsten Beyers official backstory from the Picard Novels and we see a retrofitted Enterprise-E with Worf as Captain and in the end Seven becomes the XO after she impressed Worf and another stand up for her by Janeway, Picard and the Captain of the Flagship.

Worf as Captain of the Enterprise would be a such a nice and deserved thing and i bet he would take care of the old girl in a similar way as Picard did with the original Stargazer .

Worf commanded the Enterprise-E in 2381, when Picard moved on to the Romulan rescue mission. The present of season 2 is 2401, 20 years later. That's a long time.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Disco doesn't adhere to its novels, SNW doesn't seem to be adhering to the Disco novel which featured Pike and the Enterprise, I don't see Picard adhering to the Picard novels.

Hell, there's already been a Picard novel which featured the Titan in it. When the Titan showed up on Lower Decks, it had a completely different crew than it did in that novel.
