The blurred out image could be a Sovereign class or an Odyssey class, or something else completely different.
Worth bearing in mind there was also an image put up on Twitter by one of the FX companies behind the LCARS/station displays, which had a Sovereign class on it (although all the text said Stargazer IIRC). I'm sure Dave Blass or someone quickly said it was just placeholder images, but you never know...

There was a lot of Stargazer stuff leaking pre season 2 and it got blown ho immediately.

Based on some images Terry Matalas posted on Twitter several months ago showing what appeared to be a reception/dinner going on board a starship, I suspect the hero ship of season 3 is a new Enterprise that has just been commissioned and the old TNG gang has been invited event.
It was a Sovereign with 4 nacelles, so yes a placeholder, unless they're going to refit the Sovereign.
There's an even earlier placeholder of the same computer screen where the Stargazer was represented with a Vesta class.
The Bridge was completely unaltered in the Season 3 images though, so I doubt they're using it as a different ship. Maybe a ship of the same class if it isn't the Stargazer.

The blurred out image doesn't necessarily need to be the same ship that the bridge is representing I suppose, they could be scanning another ship or having some sort of conversation about it on the bridge for a scene.
Yeah it was a tactical screen, so it could have been a ship they were targetting.

I'll probably stay up for it, but I'm not that pumped, tbh. The characters I think are interesting and the characters the writers think are interesting have little overlap, and I expect I'm going to be unhappy with how this wraps for most of them.
I am excited. But I’m substantially more excited for season three at this point.
It's just show business - a contract to star on a show or a in a movie always includes promotional activities, and if you don't want to get sued you had better promote what you're doing according to your contract, and promote it with the appropriate words.
I remember believing TOS cast lies about their being one big happy family for decades, one ST movie promotional tour after another. Until after ST:6, once it started to sink in that their run was truly over. THEN the truth about BTS drama started trickling out with Doohan speaking out, eventually culminating in the Shatner roast controversy.
Who are your favorite characters. Other than Picard mine are probably Rios and Jurati so yea LOL

Across both seasons: Hugh, Elnor, Raffi, Seven, and Rios. I had no use for Jurati last season, but damn...Alison Pill has been knocking it out of the park for S2, so even if the character isn't in my "I would kill and die for you" tier, I'll be sorry to lose the actress.
