Not sure I'd trust a site that misspells "livid" as "libid" in the subheader of its article.

In any case, the only people who are "libid" at Heard are thirsty Depp fans and MRA douchebags. Any reduction of her role would be a dumbass call.

Need more confirmation about Heard. However, she's been the target of many Right-leaning critics since the details of her relationship with Depp came to light, with some her most vocal critics demanding her removal from the DCEU.

If that is true about Herd's screen time being reduced, that's a shame, I really liked her in the first movie.
If it is true and because of the Depp situation, that's pretty shitty since that would mean they're judging purely on his side of the story.

The same way they did when they dropped Depp from Fantastic Beasts?

I doubt it's true anyway, but even if it is it's completely in keeping with WB's previous call.

Frankly I don't get people's fascination with the divorce. I understand media being fascinated because they never have any moral scruples as long as they can push "a story." But people are getting way too deep into something that is really a private matter between two people. Unless she's doing criminal acts she shouldn't be having her role reduced or her career ruined over this.

This may be the one time that comic fans would be just fine with an otherwise popular female character getting 'fridged.'

OK, that's a fair point. I do think sometimes they are a little quick to fire people the instant someone accuses them of something. I can see when we have absolute proof of what they did, but a lot of times they do it moment something is even mentioned. It's especially hard in a situation like this when we have both sides throwing accusations around.
Although in Depp's case didn't she see release a video where you could see him getting violent with her? I remember seeing a video of them fighting, and I thought he went to hit her or went to throw something at her at one point.
Well in this case, they brought a lot of this out into the public with their accusations against each other, and then we had Amber's op-ed, and his lawsuit against the news paper.

Are you watching the case? It's not looking good for her in the slightest.

I saw some of what he was saying, but I wasn't entirely sure how trustworthy of a source he was. This is the kind of case where I admit I'm never sure how much to trust either side, since they're both going to want to do everything they can to make the other side look bad.

He doesn't have to make her look bad, she's doing that all by herself. Everything from testimony from a cop contradicting her claims of "visible injury", to her claiming to have used a make up product to cover up supposed bruises that didn't exist in 2016 (something that was pointed out by the makeup manufacturers themselves) to security video of her and James Franco, who had a backpack on that could qualify as an overnight bag, getting comfortable with each other in the private elevator that led to her and Johnny Depp's penthouse. Testimonies from multiple witnesses detailing her abusive and erratic behavior. A psychologist testified, under oath, that she suffered from borderline and histrionic personality disorders. Testimony from multiple witnesses of her being verbally abusive, or drinking excessively. The revelation that after she pledged half of her divorce settlement to the ACLU, and that she has paid only a fraction of that. And then there was Depp's severed finger...

I could actually go on. Usually this kind of stuff bores me to tears, but I can't look away from this particular case. It's the proverbial train wreck that one can't turn away from.

OK wow, I hadn't heard any that, that's definitely not good. Even if they haven't cut her screen time down in this one, I think it's a pretty safe bet she probably won't be back for a third one.
Would it be to late to do a Kevin Spacey and Frank Langella and recast and refilm her scenes The Lost Kingdom?

I don't think it would be too late at all. In fact, keeping her in the film at all is a bad investment at this point. As for the trial, I am seeing someone who seriously is in need of treatment. Depp does not come off well either, but Heard's behaviour has many characteristics of her being mentally unwell.

Haven't most of Miller's problems involved him being at a bar , and presumably drinking, which people would say shows your "true" self.

And if you want to write off what could be alcoholism, he still has a choice to go to these bars

There is no proof that there is some special mental illnes which absolves Miller of any responsibility in these matters.

Not everyone who sees Miller's problems is excusing Whedon's actual or alleged behavior. They just want to have Miller's criminal behavior acknowledged. (See below for more comments on that)

Sure, you can have believeable relationships on screen while not having it off screen.... but if you are doing an ongoing franschise, or heck, ANYTHING long term... MANY effective teams have a kinship way beyond just the job. For example, I have been involved with 2 different youth groups. The "effective" one the youth leaders bonded together in different ways outside of youth time. The 2nd one, where we all showed up to "do the job" but didn't truly care for each other past that time... we have lost youth in droves, even ones who were loyal during the pandemic.

Even another DC Film Universe group, Peacemaker, has shown such connecton, and many viewers connect with that, making it a popular series.

That kind of bonding will help generate support needed for things outside of the actual work. For example, how Scarlet Johannsan was able to get financial compensation for Marvel's poor release strategy.

With the DC Film Universe, fully 1/2 of the Justice League is basically out of it... Ben Affleck is dealing with his personal issues (which led to the Reeves one rather than an Affleck-directed one), Fisher has burned bridges so that the Cyborg solo movie will never happen (or basically happned within the 4 hour movie), and even after the Flash movie... will Miller be able to stay?

We're not quite sure what is going on with Cavill (who was well cast, but poorly written)... Momoa is busy with many projects, but i am sure is fine with being Aquaman independent of Justice League (though happy to do a Peacemaker cameo) , as is Gal Gadot.

And that part is a tragedy... Miller has been such a cheerleader for the DC Film Universe...and in fact, he said it himself atthe very start: "Multiverse!", where much later he was happy to be a part of Crisis (and actually pleasing fans of the TV version as well like myself).

Better yet -- Scarlett Johannson! (To me, they look like sisters!)

Yeah, the only story I read about was her shitting in the bed, and that right there is not the behavior of a stable person.

    Oh, I like that idea.

    Elizabeth who? ;)

I love Cassidy Freeman in Smallville (she could display a lot emotions in her facial expressions) I think she is a good actress so why not.
