Spoilers Is Picard season 2 a failure?

More disappointing than a failure. They just stretched this 2024 story out too long that it’s become boring. The first two episode are still easily the best.
Still a lot better than the train wreck of season one.

Heck yeah I'm serious. Mandalorian and boba fett have been light years better in quality than Discovery and Picard....
Given the dim view that has been expressed about Discovery and Picard that doesn't make them awesome.

In fact, I recall similar complaints about Book of Boba Fett as Picard Season 2. Mandalorian is ok but definitely not awesome.
This is exactly how it should be. No one should need to justify their opinions to other fans.
Then don't respond. Let the opinion stand or fall on its own. Fans discuss everything.

This must be sarcasm. Right……….??
No...lol. What makes you think that Picard and Discovery are better than the current Star wars tv shows??? There are a few things to like about both Picard and Discovery but they dropped the ball on a LOT of things. They definitely are at the bottom of live Trek shows. DS9 imo is still too of the heap...

The mandalorian is an extremely popular show right now. Picard and Discovery not so much. It pains me to say all this ...espcially about Picard. I was so looking forward to it. I'm hoping bringing the rest of the TNG crew in next season will improve it.

Yup. I read almost universal complaints about Boba Fett except for those Mandalorian episodes that didn't feature the title character or have anything to do with the show's main plot.

If I find an opinion that I disagree with engaging in discussions is not attacking. I don't have to agree to discuss.

Then disagree and question and/or point out our differences of opinion. Don't tell me my opinion is incorrect because you disagree with it, or use snarky statements to belittle my opinion. That's what causes arguments, not the statements of opinions.

Clearly those opinions are wrong and Boba Fett is now awesome.

So let it be written.

Not a failure, just rather middling when it had the potential to be a home run. There are a lot of good elements to the season and some excellent performances, but the overall result just doesn't hang together well and I don't think there's any way the finale episode can change that, no matter how well it's executed.

Sarcasm is my default mode.

None of it is meant as an attack on a person. Opinions are not people.

Your excuse does not change the reality that your attempts at "discussing" our differing opinions belittles my own, due to your "default mode." The replies I've gotten from you and a few others when I state my opinions here requires me to go on the defensive because of the manner in which you all reply; as if my opinion is invalid simply because I'm not giving an episode extreme praise.
