Looks like the Scorpion craft from Nemesis. Intriguing.
I hope we’ll get more Orville. It’s a universe I enjoy visiting, a way of doing storytelling I find alluring and I miss the characters.
In all honesty, I didn't expect the show to make it past the first season, and I was even more certain the second would be the last. I won't be shocked at all if the third is the last.
And you know what? I'm fine with that. I love the show, but better for it to end while I still love it rather than have it drag on until it becomes a shadow of itself and I end up hating it.

Well, they've already done it without Halston Sage. Is it possible they might go on, or do a spin off, without Seth or Scott (but maybe with Halston, especially if they need an iconic character!).
TBH, we're lucky to have gotten more than half a season considering this was a FOX series to start with. FOX wouldn't know a good sci-fi series from it's collective ass.
Or possibly a movie where they can get the cast and crew back together again at some point in the future.
I expected this to be the last season. We're in the era of Trekkake, Orville is in a similar place the Kelvin movies were when Star Wars returned to theatres.
Plus, all those rumours McFarlane was ready to move on. The Orville will be fondly remembered as being nice Trek 'memberberries before the franchise went full-on 'memberberries itself.

Not to surprised this will probably be the end, I was hoping for more, but I expected this to be the last season.
At least they're not totally ruling out more at this point. The last couple decades we've gotten a few other shows that have gone years between seasons, so this could be one of those. With them doing new seasons every few years, when everybody's free.

Dear Everyone On Social Media: No one cares that you don't get Hulu. No one cares about the list of other streaming services that you don't subscribe to, either.* The show is not "coming back to Fox."
*Nor does anyone care that you hate Starbucks.
I heard Disney+ outside the US but not when. I wonder if we'll get it before Strange New Worlds...
IIRC, at least in Canada, Disney+ gets Hulu content the same day it's released on Hulu in the US. Is it not the same in other countries?

Not to mention, that I think it's still set to air on CityTV as far as I could tell, but yeah, for streaming it's on Disney+'s Star.

That's simply not true!! Let's look at the list:
- Sliders - started out great - brilliantly, in fact - but was ruined when they wanted greater control in season 3 (because lame rehashes of popular big screen movies will always bring in tons of new viewers... )
- Dollhouse - Another show misunderstood - but not for the same reasons - and it ended a year sooner, with the final season being a different format as I recall too...
- Firefly - aired episodes out of order, which got the audience confused since the show was serialized with events of earlier episodes having future development. Easily the best attempt of anybody to do their take on "Blake's 7" but in a more modernized way (for better and worse... can't believe it's 20 years old now...)
- Doctor Who - had everything Americans wanted: Glossy f/x, big highway chase scenes, numerous fourth wall and post-postmodern/metatextual jokes (that Frankenstein one was so great that they needed a sketch comedy actor to help ensure the audience the scene contained a joke), a big tongue-fightin', saliva-flickin', cooties-spreadin' snog at the end... FOX changed their mind the show despite being the most-taped show of the week, which in hindsight may have been for the best considering how Sliders' third season turned out...
- Almost Human - was recommended to me by a sci-fi aficionado who's generally on the ball with these things (more impressive since he disliked the 2009 Star Trek reboot!)
- VR5 (ahead of its time despite using a trendy/faddish p[ot device)
- Space: Above and Beyond (also way ahead of its time)

Cynicism or not because we're fans of one or more of those shows that got pulled because they didn't bring in a zillion viewers after 2 weeks or because they didn't understand the format (sci-fi is niche, and at least in Sliders' case a lot of the general audience didn't understand the premise either - to such an embarrassing extent that reviews claimed the movie was promoting issues (rather than exploring them, though I didn't see any actual promoting of them and parallel universe ideas were still ahead of their time.)
If FOX only held out... then again, with masterpieces like 2009's "V" reboot, except that one was largely uninspired, it's hard to blame them too much either...
Still, FOX had numerous original creations, of which only "Doctor Who" comes close to being a "reboot" (more a direct continuation and to an audience that tuned out after the strange guy with the big scarf offering candy to everyone left, "V" was a true reimagining/reboot).

The comments from that article already point out "faux Trek". :P
Given how many writers, producers, and actors from Trek are in "Orville" it's hard to call it "faux" either which way.
If you're doing that then use Bortus.
