Yes but in this case it seems that in his older years Kenobi's accent became more "core world/aristocratic" instead of less. It definitely didn't blend in with the way anybody else spoke on Tatooine.

Yeah, those two did occur to me, but I was afraid I might offend any religious people here by referring to biblical characters as fictional. So I decided to just not even go there.And Lazarus.
That's a very decent thing of you to do to think of others that way. For my part, I'm old and jaded, and when I think back on some of the psychological abuse I endured for not believing in the indoctrination that was being forced upon me, the less I care about the opinions of such people.

I'm interested to see why they are bringing back Hayden Christensen. With the kids who watched the prequels now adults the opinion of the prequels, and Christensen's performance, has improved. There is another generation who found his performance disappointing. I'm generalising of course but they didn't need to bring him back.

I can understand that, and my opinion used to be not to far off from that, but I've since met some really nice religious people, so I'm a little more respectful towards their beliefs now.
I will confess though, I had some neighbors I hung with as a kid who were really nice, but they were constantly trying to convert me, which did get kind of annoying.
If I watch a lot of British or Australian TV, I will start to talk with a bit of their accents.

My point is, I said, that I'm interested to see why they've brought him back. They could have told Darth Vader stories without him. I don't think he was great and therefore don't want to see de-aged Clone Wars era flashbacks. I'd be interested to see Vader under the mask but Christensen wouldn't have been required for this.
I agree. He wasn't under the vader mask in rogue one and it worked superb. The only reason to bring Hayden back is for shots of him unmasked. Vader has to have the mask on at all times so the hayden shots must be pre-suit.
No, they did not, but as you touch on, there's certain members of a younger generation who seem to like Christensen's performance and/or the character. I did not, and found Anakin to be the most annoying PT character of all.
His helmet is off when inside of his meditation chamber/bacta tank. We see him without his mas in ESB, albeit the back of his head.
