My guess would be a S5 trailer on Star Trek day-- I mean they haven't even begun filming yet, right?
That is correct. They have not, the writers room is working on the season presently, I believe, but they haven’t begun filming. According to Doug Jones at his panel at Mission: Chicago this afternoon, he hasn’t seen anything of the scripts for the new season yet, so there’s nothing close to a trailer to show at this time.
I think you’re absolutely dead on. We should be getting a LD trailer soon, perhaps at tomorrow’s panel.

Just watched S4 E1 last night, as I’ve discovered all of Discovery’s Seasons including Season 4, are available on TVNZ’s On Demand app!
My mini-review rating: 8-9 outta 10, and
and the visuals were spectacular! A great start to the season.

I’m in line for the Discovery cast panel at Mission: Chicago, and psyched to see the crew all together on stage.
Edited to add: This was a great panel. All of the actors present were engaging, entertaining, and endearing. Mary Chieffo, Ian Alexander, Anthony Rapp, Doug Jones, and Noah Averbach-Katz were all a genuine pleasure to see onstage, and both David Ajala and Ken Mitchell had me bawling.
When the fan Q&A portion began a gentleman told David Ajala that his best friend had passed last year from cancer, and that they’d watched Discovery together. He thanked Ajala for his portrayal of Book this season, and specifically for the scene at the end of S04E03 where Book and Michael talked after his mind meld, and how it helped him begin to heal after the loss of his friend.
As he was tearfully finishing his story, Ajala jumped out of his chair and ran off the stage to embrace the man speaking at the microphone. It was very emotional, and Ajala comes across as one of the most kind hearted and genuine actors I’ve ever seen at a convention, or interviewed.
And the comments and answers from Kenneth Mitchell felt powerful, and meaningful. From answering questions about his working under prosthetics, to gently ribbing Doug Jones before giving him great praise, to talking about his life after ALS, and the continued importance of reminding himself of his own worth. As he put it, even as his struggles have continued to worsen, “the genius switch is still on.”

just watched Episode 2, and am loving the direction this series is going in.
The extended Discovery crew moments are very welcome, and good to see them gaining prominence (Bryce, Tilly, Adira, Gray, Saru, to name just a few).

Just watched episode 3, and thus far my impression is that each episode builds on the last extremely well and overall improves on the previous one (at least for the 3 episodes deep that I am).
Blu Del Barrio’s acting is fantastic as Adira; and was great to see Gray finally transition to a physical body.
Tilly is a delight to behold, and seemingly ‘knocks it outta the proverbial park’ every scene she’s in!
Overall - Ep 3 was another very enjoyable watch.

Exciting!
Conceptually, this is something like I wanted out of the Discovery Spore Drive, a gateway to all of time and space and the opportunity to discover ourselves through circumstance. The show itself is such a missed opportunity. I think it is the ultimate Trek "What If?".
It's getting unanimous positive reviews and there is already talk about it getting a best picture nod
Tried Doctor Who? Proper Who, I mean, not just the 2005+ stuff... All of Time and Space to adventure in.
Just a show I never could get into. I’ve tried multiple times since the 1980’s.
