I'm saying this with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek, as Raimi can probably choose anything he wants to do at this point, and rightly so. But this is always the first thing I think of when a celebrity answers this type of question.

I agree. I think, given the obvious audience affection for Toby and Andrew, as proven by NWH, Sony would be wiser to do new films with them, rather than these villain/antihero-centric ones they seem to be focused on (assuming that the Marvel contract allows them to).

If I'm reading The Numbers correctly, BvS dropped 69 percent on its second weekend. So, yeah, Morbius' drop was quite a bit more.

Good. Sony needs to know they can't just feed us garbage and we'll eat it up because of the Marvel logo in the front.

They learned it for a moment when they stopped the Garfield movies. I'm sure the email leaks helped that along as well, though.

They cancelled the third Garfield because they bet the farm on TAS2 making a billion and when it “only” made $709M that only left a teeny slice for Sony after everyone else had their cut. And that call was made in Japan, not Hollywood.

They’ve just made the same mistake with Morbius.

Sadly, Morbius has made enough money that it will likely earn some profit....which means Sony won't learn ANYTHING from this.
