I'll judge it when I see it, but I'm less than enthused by the idea. It feels like the same pandering to complainers which dragged Disco down.

For me, I don't see using a legacy character as being "nostalgia" per se.

It's more that... I could be entirely wrong, but I don't see them as being a one-or-two-episodes and off thing. They had two of them back in season one and used the better part of a whole episode for that. Hype or not, they can't be so stupid as to hype many of the fanbase up and then these characters play second fiddles to whoever is left of the newer cast.

I like all of them - some more, some less -, and I don't think I'll hate it, but I'm just not as excited as others.

I can see Seven slamming Quark's head against the bar for information

Matalas has made comments that Season 3 is heavily inspired by his love of DS9. Draw whatever conclusions you want from that.

Would Colm Meaney come back? I’d love to see O’Brien again. He does, after all, become the most important person in Starfleet history. The fandom demands to learn why!

Okay, I demand to learn why.

Okay, I’d really just like to see O’Brien again, guys, okay?

Wait, what? A DS9 character who's not Whorf?

Btw., kudos to them keeping it so under wraps. Even well-known blabbermouths like de Lance kept quiet about it!

    Yassss.

Oh, trust me. I've been drawing all sorts of guesses since the day he said it. :P

No, no. I'm just making the (dumb) joke that Worf counts as a DS9 character as well!

Well, it's crammed already, so wtf!

Two of my favs have passed, so I only demand Kira, Garak (and by extension his husband, Bashir, let's not be impolite) and Quark back! Quark will be easy, whatever their "road trip" is must lead them to his bar (whichever of the franchise he happens to visit)! Go all in!

I doubt he'd do it, but it would be incredible if the third season is basically the conclusion to all of Berman Trek.

I doubt it. They had the basic story outlined from the beginning of the series.

It's the final season, probably the final live action appearance of Patrick Stewart as Picard they just want to have some fun.

If it meant an actual satisfying end to Berman Trek, so we can never again revisit that era, by all means. Please don’t mistake me, I loved it at the time. But I’m over it. Make it so already.

What happened to the actor who play Adult Wesley in that Q episode? Maybe he needs the work? ;)

Even when I was sixteen, watching the episode for the first time, I wondered, "who the fuck cast that dude, he looks nothing like Wesley!"

Can we just give Paramount a round of applause for filming a whole ass 10 episode TNG reunion miniseries without it leaking out online? During a pandemic! Kevin Feige and Russell T Davies are probably on the phone with Terry Matalas right now asking how the fuck he pulled that off.

There were some clues that this was happening at least in part. Michael Dorn’s very Worf-esque beard. Levar Burton saying he wasn’t in season two but…

Not to mention Gates doing voice work for Prodigy. Sure, that could have been for whatever. But it sure did seem convenient.
