Wasn’t the whole reason they brought Data back and unplugged him was because Spiner didn’t want to do the makeup anymore?
They had to CGI the hell out of Spiner just to bring Data back.

Let me get this out of the way. For all its flaws, I love TNG. It was the first live-action Trek series to premiere when I was able to watch it first run. The memories I have will last a lifetime. As I look around my living room, I have the TNG series and movies on Blu-ray, I have a Locutus of Borg figurine, the Hot Wheels Enterprise-D, the TNG comm badge hanging on my wall.
I’m just not interested in constantly reliving the past. I want to move forward. All of time and space is a huge playground, yet we constantly revisit the same characters over and over again.
We’re becoming the Talosians.
Yes, so he's probably playing Altan Soong again.
I doubt it, it would ruin the character's sacrifice.I imagine they drove a dump truck full of money up to his house and he’s playing Data again. We’ll get to spend two or three episodes watching them bring him back to life.
If this really is the last time we’ll see these characters and they get a good send-off, I’ll let them off.

Now they'd better have Jean-Luc and Beverly finally become an item.
What sacrifice? You only need a single molecule to bring him back to life. They’ve already killed him twice.
And yet… Picard has generally done a good job of resisting the temptation to make TNG 2. If this really is the last time we’ll see these characters and they get a good send-off, I’ll let them off.
This certainly has the sense of an end of an era for this generation of Star Trek in front of and behind the camera.
I actually teared up a little bit. This made my day. I wonder if they're going to fast track Season 3. I'm assuming they're already finished filming based on the rumors.

Like the uniforms in Generations. They even sometimes switched in the same scene. I would laugh at it.My friend jokingly suggested he should have a different design every scene.
Also note that the trailer says "joining the cast". So my guess is that the current cast Rios, Raffi etc will still be in S3, they are just going to add the original TNG cast.
