Beverly, of course. She never treated Data like...
Pulaski didn't understand Data's true nature at first, but that gave her both an opportunity for growth and a source of conflict with the rest of the crew, who did regard Data as a friend and comrade.
That's the problem with search engines... you type in something, and it comes right up. I almost resurrected a couple of interesting-looking threads that I unearthed thus before noticing their age.
And again I would argue there wasn't in-universe growth so much as the writers quickly abandoning that part of her character because of negative fan-reaction.

when she became acting-Captain in "Descent" it was icing on the cake.
It's interesting that people criticize Pulaski for bullying Data but give McCoy a free pass when he does the same/worse to Spock.

Additionally, Pulaski did what she did out of malice. McCoy and Spock did not.
Candlefucker?
I wonder if Bev got aroused watching Beauty and the Beast?
I think I'm going to write a fanfiction where Pulaski tries to prove that Data is not Human, or incapable of human emotion/sapient thought by sleeping with him.
Of course she has to do it many times, to prove that his moves are not recorded reproduction of seen acts, or something Soong programmed into him to repeat without variation every time a person asks for him to perform.
Could "Ethics" or "Remember Me" have worked with Pulaski as the star? Or maybe... "Sub Rosa"?
What about "Peak Performance" or "Unnatural Selection" with Beverly?
This post pretty much sums up my feelings about these two. I hated the way Pulaski treated Data at first, although I'm glad that she seemed to accept him as a sentient being by the end of the season.
I enjoy the fact that she dislikes and distrusts the transporter, when almost everyone else seems to use it as if it's no big deal in the 24th century. I guess that was more common in McCoy's era.
That said, out of the Treks I've seen (TOS, TNG, VGR, ENT), both of the TNG doctors are my least favorite ones for some odd reason. My favorite by far is the EMT, even if VGR is my least favorite Trek show.
