The Skant is here...!

We should petition the US government to allow for skants to be an official variant for the uniforms in the Armed Services. Or, at least, allow for kilts to be worn (for dress or otherwise).
 
Why not both?:shrug:
No. 1 feels more natural in trousers. But Uhura without a mini-skirt seems just weird.
 
Actually, Uhura's miniskirt was seen as sexist in the 90s.

But not by the women who wore them in the 60s. The style was a pro-feminism statement (Mary Quant, Jean Shrimpton, Grace Lee Whitney). Persis Khambatta asked to ditch the slacks that had been made to match the Probe's leisure robe. And Nichelle Nichols requested/demanded a skirt for her scenes in ST III.
