Does the Enterprise not have the ring of lights on the front of the saucer anymore?
I don't think they are, you can still see the 'lip' of where they're placed. I think they just forgot to render them in this shot.on the top front of the saucer are gone.

Boy Howdy. I like the update to the design of the Frame of the shuttle (Some might think its too much of a change, not me), and I like how it keeps the hull panelling scene in modern Trek, and some other design elements of the Enterprise we are going to have. But I also like that the color scheme seems lighter. A bit closer to TOS.Love that shuttle!
I was not a fan of those lights, or any strip of random white lights that look like windows, which seems to be a thing in modern ship design (across eras). The ones that look like windows (might actually be windows?) on the Inquiry class bug me too.
And it looks like they fixed that bridge window, so it's just a window now and not a weird window in a strange empty space with a glass shell.I think that row of lights/windows (which were my biggest dislike) on the top front of the saucer are gone......or at least turned off.

My only question, why still with the wind turbines?
Yeah, I agree. I was more just thinking that wind turbines would be my least-preferred renewable (due to sound, bird impacts, initial construction and repair difficulties). But maybe in the actual show we will see solar or other types as well. Though I don't expect any explanation to be voiced as to why Pike chose wind or not others, it is an interesting thought experiment.
Dude has a rotary phone.Or could be relics from the past.
The engines are the same size. yes this is the Anovos model, but it was built using the Discovery assets. And you can see the glass shell you mentioned in the image you quotedAnd it looks like they fixed that bridge window, so it's just a window now and not a weird window in a strange empty space with a glass shell.
EDIT: The impulse engines appear to have shrunk, too.
Fair enough regarding the impulse engines, but the window area has definitely changedThe engines are the same size. yes this is the Anovos model, but it was built using the Discovery assets. And you can see the glass shell you mentioned in the image you quoted

Kinda looks like they put a squash court in front of the bridgeThis is my first time seeing the bridge module and weird dome up close and see through.
What the heck!? WHAT IS THAT?
Those are lights. You can see the same style of lights in Season 2 during one of the close ups of the registry lights.and also a row of windows underneath?
The SNW costumes were on display on the Star Trek Cruise and they were labelled as being from 2259. So 2-3 years later.Just wondering..........do we KNOW if this starts PRIOR to the events in Disco S2 or after?
You're right, I tried matching the camera angle in STO. The window used to reach the top dome, but now it stops before.but the window area has definitely changed
