Nudity taboos in Trek

UPN was, and I use the term because it is the one most commonly used, schizophrenic in their nudity policy.

IIRC, the decision to crop out T'Pol's nude backside had to do with Harbinger airing weeks after Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl, and as such there was a lot of pressure on American television in general to avoid nudity, even implied nudity at the time.
