And I mean, TECHNICALLY we saw representations of Galaxy, Constellation, Constitution, Sovereign, etc. LAST year. Just not real-live, non-dreamed ones.
And in preview materials we know that Picard has a golden Ambassador class model in his study, plus assorted legacy ships on display. And one preview sequence shows a couple FC-era ones. So overall this shouldn't be news per se... But DANGIT I WANNA KNOW TOO!

I'm pretty sure there were at least two Star Trek Online ships in the fleet, too: Andromeda Class and Sutherland class (the deflector dish on the secondary hull is very distinctive).
And a Sovereign class and live action Luna Class, but I'll have to check the freeze frame tomorrow.

For months, I thought that a season premiere would be titled "Stargazer" at some point. Then sure enough...
Can't wait to see what they do with the opening credits.
The track has been remixed, and the visuals have changed (not much of a surprise there)
Do you know when in the episode the STO ships show up? The Gagarin, Reliant, Sutherland and Ross-Classes are supposed to show up.
Towards the end. I just looked up the Ross class. It was probably a Ross class and not an Andromeda class. The pylons have a similar shape.

That may have helped me........I went in expecting more of season 1 and expectations were not that high. Total shift in everything except for the world they created for season 1. I think they may have taken some of the fan feedback into consideration as well. Also Terry Matalas is a former PA from Voyager and writer from Enterprise. His LOVE of Trek shines through.

Well, this is the most rabidly excited I've been for a TV premiere since season seven of Agents of SHIELD.
Same........and by going in cold I think that helped me enjoy it. So I am sorry if I over hype it. Can't wait to read reactions later and look at screencaps.
