I am celebrating something I'd have bought for myself if my co-teacher hadn't bought it for me. I got a swimsuit cover-up and socks at Old Navy. They just earned back my business because of this.
A gaming chair to replace my now-too-big-for-comfort home office chair.
After my brother tested positive for covid last weekend (he's fine), leading to 5 days of isolation, I finally got out to pick up the last two weeks of comics.
A portable monitor that attaches via magnets to the back of my laptop and connects to my
laptop via a single USb c cable for both power and data. It slides in and out from the back of my laptop, allowing me to work in different areas than my home office, such as outside or a cafe, without sacrificing my second screen (which is necessary for like 3/4 of my job).
Tested it out at a cafe a friend owns today. Worked great. Looking forward to be outside during the weather weather more often.

It is! It's amazing the things you get excited about as an adult (especially when you use the corporate card to buy them, so it's not your own money
).You can get better quality portable screens but they are less portable, which kinda defeats the purpose. And since it's mostly for spreadsheets anyway, not gaming or movies, the portability factor wins out.
Valentine's Day candy and flowers for family. A new dress/tunic because Belk had a sale! Also a new Na Na Na Surprise doll for myself (a special Valentine's Day edition), and an American Girl Wellie Wishers outfit. Finally, I also ordered another American Girl outfit for my newest doll, Corinne.
Bought a 512 GB S22 Ultra today. My 4 year old Note 8 still works but battery life has been degrading the last year and I'm hoping to be able to start traveling this year so I'd like something that last longer. Plus, every other time I've got a phone it's been because my current phone completely died, this time I wanted to upgrade before it was an "emergency". The double data for free and $400 trade in makes it a better deal to upgrade now than 6 months from now.

Brought MSI RTX 3060 12Gb Graphics Card a few days and just installed it. Quite awesome. Much better than the old RTX 710 1Gb that I put in when I got this computer. Had been looking at graphic cards for a few months.
