DC Movies - To Infinity and Beyond

Does Sasha Calle look like she is Amy Adams daughter?

EDIT
She does not look like Henry Cavill’s daughter either really. Who knows.

It does not matter. Its rare to ever see actors cast as the children of other performers and bear any sort of physical resemblance, yet it still works (best case example: The Godfather).

You really are obsessed that Clark only ends up Lois. In the multiverse it can be anyone

That is strange. If anyone is familiar with the comics' long history, Superman has been romantically involved with women not named Lois, and in all honestly, most filmed versions of the Superman/Lois relationship were irritating at best, as Lane was usually presented as if she was dealing with an obsessed stalker personality (Kidder tops that list). Still, if Calle is supposed to be the daughter of Cavill's Superman and Adams' Lois of that alternate world (hopefully), the only thing that will matter is SG taking on their personality traits.

Keaton's Batman spotted on the set of the "Batgirl" movie. Looks like a flashback. Apparently it's not Keaton in the suit on set. This is probably a stunt costume since it looks a bit flimsy/loose.

So given that JK Simmons is Gordon does this mean Keaton ISN'T the Batman 89 we grew up with? He would be another Keaton/Batman in the multiverse.

I doubt JK Simmons will age into Pat Hinge's Commission Gordon. Will some diehard fans be disappointed?

What's great about this is if you knock it out of the park you're a hero and if they screw it up, it's the Wonder Twins, no one will be too upset.

While I think the temptation would be to go tongue-in-cheek I'd be curious to see a straight, earnest take.

I'm really surprised the CW didn't do a Wonder Twins series years ago.

That Batman costume looks like something a cosplayer would construct. I will assume he will be in the shadows (more often than not, hopefully) to conceal its shortcomings.

It's his stunt double in what is most likely a stunt suit, which can be designed to be looser for more range of movement. Definitely not how it will look when the movie magic is done.

On the other hand, you should get out more. Saying something looks like what a cosplayer would construct these days is a compliment. They make stuff better than the movie studios often enough.

There is no doubt these pictures are of a stunt man or stand in. They were filming a day or two before Michael Keaton arrived in Scotland. All superhero movies have many variations of same costume for different uses. Not just stunts either. There is likely a standing cape and a sitting cape with different lengths.

This gives us a general idea of what the Batsuit looks like but not the “Hero Suit” which is what Keaton will wear for full body shots. Which is similar to movie cars. There is a Hero car that has all the details. But many stunt cars.

Even than I imagine close up shots of his gloves and the belt might be even more detailed. Only used for stuff shot by the 2nd unit.

I really don't know how I feel about this. My first thought was, "seriously?" But I've been surprised a lot (ie., Peacemaker), so I'm willing to be surprised again.

That costume makes him look like a life size resin kit model. I really hope the final shots are better then that.

I can hear the crooks laughing hysterically: "Look! Plastic Batman is here!"

Read @Dick Whitman 's post. This is literally what is happening here. So many superhero movies have gone through the same comments online. When the movie is finally released, people say.... "Hey, it actually looked good!"
This is NOT the suit Mickey Keat will be wearing for the money shots. This was stunty mcstuntstunt in a suit that allows him to make the movements that will look like he's beating up other stunty mcstuntstunts.

Also I imagine most of the people working on the movie are not thrilled these pictures are online. But there is little they can do about it. These are public streets. Same reason that mural art was photographed before it was finished.

I read on another forum the asinine suggestion that WB is leaking these to undermine Matt Reeves’ soon to released movie. Ridiculous.

There is certainly some publicity from this. But the studios love to control how and exactly when we see new information on their projects.

Yeah, I doubt the studios would release these kind of pictures themselves, they're going to want everything to look as perfect as possible when they release it. They're not going to release poor quality pictures that people are going to criticize.

Take your own advice, as i've seen too many cosplayers with subpar results. The truly "good" costumes are the outliers.

Agreed.

Not to mention that these pics got out before they even got a good promo image for Keaton's Batman in The Flash movie, which I'm guessing will be released before Batgirl.
