Depends on the Superman. But I would care very much about Calle's Supergirl in any case.

Just because a thing is possible doesn't make it desirable. There's no good reason to abandon comics' greatest and most enduring romance.

Sorry, not even close. Reed and Sue Richards romance has been more enduring than Peter and MJ. The number of times Peter and MJ were split up and kept apart by editors who couldn't handle Spider-Man being married, I'm tempted to even count Scott Summers and Jean Grey as more enduring.

So, I don't know what happened with the teaser. I saw it on WB's official YT channel, then I tried to open the "share" window and it wouldn't load, so I reloaded the page only for it to say the video wasn't available anymore. Well, whatever went on, it's up again on WB's channel:

I don’t mean how long their time together. I just find them more interesting as a couple than the others.
Yeah, that’s the same teaser IGN put out. Must be for that American Football thing. There’s a Dr Evil ad as well for it

If they do have her be an alternate universe version of Superman's daughter I hope it's Superman and Wonder Woman's child together then.
 
That's obviously deliberate, right down to the haircut they gave Calle. And the director described her in a promo video as a "half solar-powered alien."

Granted, they could just be borrowing the look, but the smart money says she's the daughter of some universe's Lois and Clark.

Honestly, as long as its not in the Snyder/DCEU style, I'm up for DC experimenting with different properties. I'd honestly rather watch a Wonder Twins film then another Batman film at this point(any one, not just the Pattinson film that I think looks terrible). It probably won't be great, I'm betting it will be some YA thing, but at least you know that you won't be seeing Martha Wayne's pearls falling to the ground for the hundredth time.
