I believe he said in an episode of TNG that the Stargazer was his favourite.

He tells Scotty that even though the Enterprise-D is far superior, there are times when he would give almost anything to command the Stargazer again. I think a lot of people confuse their own love for the Enterprise-D (and E) with his love for the ships. Of course he loves them both but if you really, really pushed him to choose between them and the Stargazer, he would choose the Stargazer.

Yup it looks like there is going to be something going on between Laris and Picard this season. Isn't she married to Zhaban? I'll see how it plays out but I'm not a fan of this pairing in all honesty. I'm a Picard/Crusher shipper until the bitter end lol.

Given how close Q has been to Jean-Luc’s face indeed and how often this happened on TNG, I would hope Jean-Luc finally gets to kiss Q - this is the only TNG pairing involving Jean-Luc that has ever made absolute sense to me. Now they have a chance to finally do what TNG never dared…

Since Romulans probably age the same as Vulcans, Laris (despite looking much younger) might actually be closer to Picard's age than Beverly. Picard is 95 and Crusher "only" 76. So she might be a good match for Picard.
