It's a nice scene, but I can see why they cut it. It doesn't really add anything.Another D'Onofrio deleted scene, this time Fisk is with Eleanor post Battle of New York.

I beat he'd also be shocked to find out he was also in Full Metal Jacket.MIB was on TV the other week and my husband was boggled when I told him that Edgar was the same guy who plays Kingpin.![]()
The show already established that he used to look after her sometimes while her father was working (and that fact she's the only one that calls him "Uncle" should also be a clue), so there's really no new information here than in the scene where we just see him pinch her cheek, it's just presented differently. His knowing sign language makes a little more sense now.

D'Onofrio? Definitely not in Crow 2.And Crow 2 IIRC.

Ah, see, that's where I first saw Matthew Moline and I've been following his career ever since. I was thrilled when he popped up in Stranger Things.I was even more surprised to find out the same guy who played Dr Brenner in "Stranger Things" was in that with Vincent.
D'Onofrio? Definitely not in Crow 2.
Memory's the 2nd thing to go.Wow, you are right. I have this memory of him being a villain in that movie. I must be conflating to films I saw around the same time.
He also played Thor the same year as Full Metal Jacket... sort of
I have to wonder how Jeph Loeb, Joe Queseda and all of Perlmutter's other Yes-Men who tried to keep Marvel TV and the Movies separate feel. If they're finally realizing it was a bad idea or if they think Feige stole their jobs.
Which is a little silly considering two are dead, one is presumed dead (but is actually really old), and one is off planet. So really only Bruce stood up Clint. The backstory on Rogers the Musical is that all the surviving / current Avengers were invited to the premiere, but Clint was the only one who showed up.
Which immediately made me think of the crazy rig Children of Men had to develop on set to film that extended single shot of the car driving away backwards while being chased by motorcycles. They didn't mention the film here but it's clear that film paved the way for this rig. They used a special camera-car for Clint and Kate in order to film the car chase. Sort of a car on a flatbed platform.
That was wonderful. It was also great to hear from Vincent, even if only for a couple of minutes. They carefully avoided the subject of whether Kingpin is actually dead or not...When Kevin Feige suggested that Kingpin be the big bad in the final episode everyone else in the Skype meeting thought he was joking.![]()
