Argh. With the various sales there are a ton of ships reduced to under £10 but all the ones I want are out of stock.

UK peeps - the online store has DSC ships that are normally about £40 reduced to £10, or did yesterday!

XL issue 1 is the Rocinante, 32cm, £59.99.
I prefer smaller models so I stick to the regular one. But if you’re looking for detail, you might cancel issue 1 and order XL1 instead.

I’m looking forward to when / if EM produce an EDF (Earth Defence Force) starship as seen in Discovery S3. That design is one of the more interesting that I’ve seen, IMO.

I peaked in a comic store today (not my usual one, but one across town) and, to my surprise, they had Relay Station 47. It's always nice buying something in a store and taking it home instead of waiting for it to arrive. Looks really nice. I was surprised it fits sideways on the stand, but maybe that's more of a space-saving thing.

The German magazines for the specials are still the original, larger size. That's pretty nice.

I do recall a preview from the S1 Premiere of Picard that used different shots that weren't seen in the actual episode. A scene showing what appeared to be Romulan ships approaching Mars comes to mind. I definitely believe they had different animation renderings that came out at some point, that show different ship configurations like that.

His photos of the back of the boxes show no newly announced ships. To wiz, we see the Hierarchy assault vessel, Klingon D5 tanker, Pralor starship and Reman Scorpion-class.

EM's reconstructed Scorpion model doesn't look very accurate... I don't think there are any reference pictures of Digital Domain's CG model, but the schematics for the life-size version could have been used. Compared to those, some parts are too angular, the cockpit seems too wide, and the disruptor cannon too big.

Great observation! That will make it interesting to compare the Eaglemoss model with a GamePrint counterpart and the Hallmark release.
