I recently finished reading Una McCormack’s PIC novel Last Best Hope (the hardcover first in the PIC series), and it’s fairly clear that it was Brophy’s Maddox she was personifying in her characterization. I was delighted to then hear her say so in I think it was a podcast online. Five Brophy’s all around.
