George Martin's Fire and Blood. is it any good?

Just wondering if Fire and Blood is any good to read since its a prequel novel?

I really enjoyed it. It’s almost like a history book about the Targaryen dynasty but written in his usual bawdy style. I believe it forms the basis for the forthcoming GOT prequel House of the Dragon.

All I remember is his obsession with the inventive ways young teenage girls lost their virginity seemed turned up to 11.

It's honestly more fun to just read the characters Wikia entries which also means you don't have to read the distasteful stuff mentioned above
