Ripped from the headlines.... on the next Law & Order.... a long-running popular police procedural and legal drama that's been off the air for 10 years is being revived by the studio, and one of its most popular actors is being sought to return until several women accuse him of sexual assault and his agency drops him. And then someone is murdered. DUN DUN!

I'm thrilled to hear that he's returning as Jack.

I doubt L&O has the balls to do an episode like that. Noth would probably sue.

Good. Heard that the talent agency that he was in, kicked him as well.

I'm currently watching John Ales in a SVU episode. So Maddox has entered this thread.

There's a fair whack of ST:Picard actors who have done L&O...Michelle Hurd was on SVU for a year, Allison Pill was on CI once, and I'm fairly sure Peyton List did some L&O work too.

I think PIC may have the highest concentration of "L&O actors" of any Trek series. Most others only have like one (Scott Bakula was on SVU once, as was Kate Mulgrew. Brent Spiner was on CI, and Colm Meaney has done SVU and CI.)

I'm racking my brain trying to remember if any TOS actors have ever done L&O. I don't think any have.

Edit: Just remembered, a bunch from DSC have turned up in L&O shows. Sonequa was on CI, Anson Mount did the mothership and Conviction, Bill Irwin (Su'Kal) has a recurring role on SVU (he plays Benson's therapist), plus James Frain was also on SVU.

Another edit: I do NOT envy Olivia's therapist. That's gotta be a full-time job.

Yeah, I also forgot the actor who played the Shenzhou's helmsman (and, in the MU, was the captain) was on SVU as well. But that was after he did DSC.

I can't take Bill Irwin as the therapist seriously. I just see Mr Noodle

I can't take him serious at all. The therapist that is (have no issue with the actor). I wanted to slap him when he judged Olivia about her job. Like :wtf:. Just unprofessional, you know? The writers are something else on the show. :brickwall:

 I didn't really view it that way tbh. But I did feel bad about her there.

Just saw an episode of Special Letters Unit from 2006. They have to throw a bone to parents every once in a while.

Donal Logue, Jason Biggs and two other cops who have previously been on SVU
on tomorrow's episode. Is this a backdoor pilot for a reworked Law & Order: Hate Crimes?

It felt like it was a good cast that would get me interested in checking it out when its on proper.

As for the last OC, I can't say I'm surprised to see that...

Wheatley was the one who busted Sebastian out of prison.

Was NOT expecting to see Wheatley and Angela working together again though. Have to see where this goes, I guess. I suppose we can all hope that she'll turn on him, but still...

And I'm convinced that Elliot totally knows Angela is faking her illness. Something about that scene with them in the coffee shop...got my suspicions up.

If it means Murphy comes back I'm all for it! Great to see him again.

I like Donal Logue but Murphy is a shitbag who abandoned his child. I'm guessing they did some kind of remorse in his episode.

Ah, no, he's not, not even close.

In an earlier episode, as soon as Murphy found out that Amanda was pregnant, he offered to come out of undercover work and support her in any way she needed. She said she wanted to raise Jesse on her own and she didn't need anything from him.

And this was made clear again in this last ep. Amanda clearly had NO problems with Murphy's job keeping him undercover, she had nothing against him, she didn't consider him a deadbeat (indeed, he DID show remorse at being under for so long that he couldn't be a part of his daughter's life), and that the way she raised Jesse was what she wanted all along.

Hell, Amanda didn't even blame Murphy for their having a fling in the first place - it was Murphy who felt kinda guilty about that.

That said...now that Murphy is back, it sure seems like he wants to have some kind of relationship with Jesse, I'm sure Jesse has been told about her father and that Amanda will let him visit.
