RC Enterprise and Bird of Prey take to the skies
that time Peter Sripol built a human-flying drone sleigh and got his dad to fly in it.
skip to around 18:45 for the flying stuff
It's a hybrid Cargo Plane where a small section is used for small amount of passengers (up to 200 people).why does a cargo plane have windows?
The Proteus Concept is derived off the Strato Launch, ergo the twin tail section and the Blended Wing Body design with large cargo cavern.I can't see a need for anything like it right now. But if there was a need for something in that load class, seems like new versions of the Stratolaunch Roc could fill the bill. It has the advantage of existing. As is, it can lift as much as the AN-225 and could probably tweaked for more, since cargo hauling wasn't its initial purpose. If the design reverted back to Northrop Grumman/Scaled they'd probably be happy to build more, if not, whoever owns the assets of Stratolaunch.. ok that IS the assets of Stratolaunch, would sell them cheaply, I think.
I don't think the Eta is designed to carry the massive weight / volume that the Space Shuttle was designed to or re-enter Earth's Atmosphere.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eta_Aircraft_eta
Has a 1 to 70 glide ratio, rather impressive I would say, as a contrast, the Space Shuttle has a glide ratio of 4.5 to 1...
I dare you to tell that to NASA and see what kind of reaction they give you.Mwah, scale it up a bit, add some thingymabobs and engine stuff, some tiles here and there and give it a flashy paintjob, that will do it.![]()

I assume a Mirage III/V or 2000 would be a little better than the Shuttle, not much though but it could be worse like having to fly a F-104 without engine power..![]()
