Spoilers Prodigy ship revealed

jUJzyWT.png

Looks like 8 regular decks and one big cargo deck

Looks like the warp nacelles may have catwalks like the NX-01 did over 200 years earlier.

any theories on length yet? by measuring the characters or something. Though we don't know their exact heights.

Edit:

ah

Ok, I took the time to do some real calculations of ProtoStar's LxWxH based on Kate Mulgrew's height.
With that info figured out, I calculated Rok Tahk's height.
After that, I figured out roughly how wide is the shuttle bay at the lowest point.
Then I figured out how tall ProtoStar is, which then lead me to it's Length / Width.

Kate Mulgrew = 5'5" = 1.651 meters
Rok Tahk = 6'8.2" = 2.0376 meters
ProtoStar's:
- Height = 37.5825 meters from Top of the Bridge's glass dome to bottom of Cargo Bay hull
- Length = 284.5236 meters from (Tip of Nose to End of Nacelle)
- Length = 217.7331 meters from (Tip of Nose to End of Tail)
- Width = 166.0572 meters from (Outside of Nacelles)
- Width = 126.4323 meters from (Outer Edge of Saucer)

I always thought the 4 little legs looked silly and wouldn't be able to support the ship, so this is single leg is extra amusing.

From what I recall, Rick Sternbach stated that Voyager's landing legs were disproportionately small because they're more like anchors holding it in position relative to the ground, and it's actually "landing" on an antigravity field. It would have been nice if there'd been a line of dialogue explaining this is why the ship doesn't tip forward onto its nose or sink into the ground under its own weight though...

I can't remember the first time the term was actually spoken onscreen (I'm fairly sure the NX-01 didn't have a dedication plaque) but the intent was always there.

It does have a dedication plaque, just to starboard of the turbolift on the bridge. They do state on screen that the Enterprise is "NX class" too.

The original plan for TNG: "Eye of the Beholder" was that the nacelle control room was a corridor that ran the length of the nacelle, but the effects weren't up to it – it's referred to as a "nacelle tube" in the script for this reason. The smaller scale of the NX-01, plus the significant improvement in effects and sets, made it feasible by the time Enterprise came along.
