Hmmmm...... I'm going to actually nail down an order. Take it with a grain of salt.
1. DSC
2. TOS
3. PIC
4. TNG
5. Short Treks <-- How about that @TIM Thomason?
6. VOY
7. LD
8. TAS
9. DS9 <-- Yes, you read that right. Niners have successfully turned me off from it. Thanks!
10. ENT <-- Would've been higher if the rest of the series was like the fourth season.
Got to update this.

Disco was a game-changer for me. It single-handedly knocked TOS off my undisputed #1 spot; and the amount of trashing it got from Niners made me put TNG and VOY over DS9. Whoever would've thought that would ever happen? The fact that TNG and VOY tie closer into Picard also helped.
DS9 Fans not liking DSC because it's not telling the story the way they would've told it, that drives me nuts. Especially when they're so incessant about it and their alternatives don't make for a more entertaining viewing experience. There are different ways of telling stories. The DS9 Way isn't The Only Way. Plus DS9 is generally so highly rated on TrekBBS that it's been deified here. So yeah. It needs to be taken down a peg every now and then.
I've seen a lot of DS9 Fans trash DSC and the reasons you listed are what make it so frustrating. @Sci and I were talking about this subject the other week. Those who critique Discovery incessantly say that it
... but you think they are foremost Niners?
- is too serialized,
- is too violent,
- is too martial,
- is too dark,
- has too much of the Mirror Universe and Section 31,
- features too much internal conflict,
- has an undeserving minority lead,
- and betrays Gene's vision,
In that thread, there are four posts by three people who make direct comparisons between between DS9 and Discovery, and only one poster who says, as you have suggested, that Discovery should do things the DS9 way. There are others who compare it to all the Berman era series or Burnham to all the other leads, but that doesn't get you, does it?
There are distinct differences between DS9 and Discovery in other ways though. It is in the way that many of the characters behave and are portrayed. Discovery sometimes comes across as a "teen drama." The characters are sometimes awkward and overly dramatic. It's not believable to me that characters that behave this way would be successfully running a star ship. It was believable that the characters in DS9 would be capable of carrying out their responsibilities. It's likely because it hits too close to home....not because it's "different." DS9 previously owned the market on "Star Trek that dared to be different"

Discovery took some of the DS9 style ideas that stuff matters and that characters could be flawed and explored it further. The Discovery crew has awesome moments of talent, and are constantly struggling with a stream of tragedy. Their struggles feel more real.DS9 was all that and more. It started to take Trek in a given direction. Discovery really did the same stuff, it just took it a little further.
That's exactly what it is. I expected a lot of TNG Fans not to like DSC because of issues with Gene's Vision or the drastic tonal difference. I expected a lot of TOS Fans to not like the visual changes DSC made and treading on TOS lore. These are all things I can understand. Where the Niners are attacking from is like from Outer Space to me.It's likely because it hits too close to home....not because it's "different."
